_______ BEWARE OF BUYING A HORSE FROM___TNT HORSE RANCH______
We bought a horse from TNT HORSE RANCH that they advertised as “calm no spook” and when we called to ask about him we were told “no buck”, very calm and very safe horse. I am a intermediate rider and we were looking for a horse for me and we made it very clear to them that I was not experienced enough to ride a horse that was not well broke and very calm. We went to go see TNT HORSE RANCH and again they emphasized that this horse was very calm and safe, however they would not let me ride him outside of a small round pen, AND HE SEEMED KIND OF DOPEY. Turns out this horse is actually not calm, he has a bad bucking problem, so far he has bucked me off and everyone else we have asked to work with him including experienced cowboys, even after warming him up in the round pen. I got seriously hurt.
My veterinarian tells me that he is way older then TNT HORSE RANCH told me he was, which means that this is an old problem. I called and emailed TNT HORSE RANCH and asked them to take him back and they refused. Eventually they offered me half my money back, but what could I do ? I can't ethically sell a horse like that . I got a vet check and the vet said that he is partially lame too. I guarantee they are reselling that horse to some unsuspecting person. Their whole business is selling horses and if they are not honest then they are putting people in serious danger. They have a legal and ethical duty to inform a buyer about the true nature of the horse that they are selling. To not disclose a problem as serious as bucking is TNT HORSE RANCH. I could have been permanently injured or even killed. These people are out to sell you a horse and they don’t care what happens after you get him down the road, so BEWARE OF BUYING A HORSE FROM TNT HORSE RANCH.
