I have a lease with this company, I wanted to return the equipment and cancel lease and was told I could not unless I payed all the payments up front first even though they have an early termination clause that does not say that.
A sales rep came to my office by appointment and showed me a POS system for credit card sales. I agreed to try the system on a month to month basis but I told him that because I am 65 and not sure when I want to retire, I would only try it on a month to month basis and he said "you can cancel at any time."
He went to his car and got a box out and brought it into my store and he had a laptop with a form on it and he asked me to sign that I had received this box. In the meantime, a customer had come in and so I barely glanced at it but I thought that there was a 3 day cancellation period with anything in Virginia that you sign in which you can cancel, so I wasn't too concerned. Everyone I've told this story since it happened said that they believed the same thing.
But when I read what I had signed I found that it was a 4 year contract that said "Noncancellable" at the top in small letters that he neither mentioned or showed me.
I called to let them know that I was cancelling and they are refusing to allow me to cancel even though I explained how their sales rep had deceived me. At first the sales rep denied that he had told me it could be cancelled at any time and then later he admitted saying it but said that he really only meant that the merchant services part could be cancelled.
He was supposed to come set up the system but missed an appointment that he made to do so and didn't call me to cancel. The paperwork that TimePayment Corp sent me states that he verified "a complete and satisfactory installation of your equipment." This is also not true - the equipment is sitting in my office in the same box he brought in and left.
Just like everyone else who was tricked into signing up for Time Payment service..They stated that they were partner with the Company I was purchasing from Hotel Restaurant Supply..I had many low interest cards I could use but their sell broker Quick spark inc Was so nice and continue to email me bout their financial team they stated they will handle everything for purchasing my order...I didn't have any thing in mind to purchase being I was just starrting up my catering business..He told me the minium they I could purchase was $1500.00...So I purchase a few folding chairs,a folding table,table clothes,a few Chef jackets,catering t-Shirts,a few table napkin..Total of $1586.00 which I never saw the items invoice..when I called the supply company for my full items invoice I notice what Time Payment were charging me was over 80% interest $2889.97..it was a Friday..Come Monday morning Two day after gettingg approved the agent said I was locked in. I pleased with her to Let me pay the purchase price of my items plus the $179.00 the has charged my bank account..I was told if I paid it off earily it would be over $3000.00...I work hard to get my credit score up only to have theses scammers bring it down..because I will not ever give them one red cent.
Yscam corp charging for leased equipment was supposed off been retirned to store. i do not have equipment was not sold. do not know who has it might have been stolen, but they want full payment. open to any class action law suites against timepayment corp
Every time I called in or emailed to get a situation reseloved, the only response I recieved was a different answer each time and act like it is not their problem
They even reported deliquent payment on credit report before letting me know that I have a loss waiver in my contract. Paid for the item for three years and only had it for one week. I was the one that found the loss wavier part and no help from Time Payment.
I previously had a four year contract with Olympic Securities. Nearing the end of this contract, in May 2017, a technician from Olympic Securities aka Time Payment Corp came into my office. He said he wanted to install some upgraded equipment. I was working and told him to go ahead. When he finished, he said he had a few things I needed to sign. I signed them and he left and I went back to work. It was only after I recieved a copy of a new lease agreement, did I realize I had signed a new 60 month lease! This was NOT explained at the time! The technician made it sound like this was just a simple equipment upgrade and that I need to pay him $212.18 for installation charges. I wrote him a check at that time and he left. A week or so later I get a copy of this new lease, when I talked to a representative of this company I was told that this was a non cancellable lease and that what I signed was binding. They lied and misrepresented their intentions, and took advantage of me, or I would never have signed a new lease.
