Found this site and thought it was a local firm. My mistake!! Advertised price for concert tickets was $162 a seat. That's expensive enough, but I was willing to pay. At check-out an upcharge of $100.91 was added to the total amount after they had my credit card information. Now that they have my credit card charged, they have me by the balls. These cockroaches live in the same shadows as all the other scum scalpers of the world. I would expect a modest profit for anyone, but a rip-off of this magnitude is sad. BUYER BEWARE OF TICKET OFFICES!!!
They deserve a negative 5 stars. Facebook page says they are the lowest priced ticket providers. Bought tickets, paying $106 and over $80 in service fees for a total of $296. The tickets are $35 tickets. Then they say the Facebook page is for like providers when comparing pricing. Then say so. Repeated calls get you nowhere other than lies from the call center (of course I was speaking to the highest manager in the call center when my first call was picked up since that's how call centers work.) After asking for the CEO's name and number, I was told it was public records. Great, why can't you give it to me then. Call center specialist Jarrell was a piece of work, just reading from the script.
This place is a total scam! They resell tickets wayyyy over face value (in my case, by almost 10x). They add a bunch of charges to the tickets you purchase as well. Customer service is a nightmare. STAY AWAY!!! You're much better off buying the tickets from the source or even another resale site that is more reasonable.
complete scam - materially misrepresented their ticket prices
Buyer beware - ticket price was materially misrepresented - total price was not listed until after the purchase was made. Do not buy tickets from this vendor.
Bought tickets for a concert 4 months in advance. Arrived at venue only to be denied access because replacement tickets had been requested by TicketOfficeSales to the primary vendor for God knows what reason. I was never notified of any change to my tickets. Very embarrassed when denied at the venue. Try to always buy tickets through the venues primary vendor. I rate them 5 rotten fish
Purchased 4 orchestra tickets to the Nutcracker ballet at Saroyan Theatre in Fresno, California on December 13, 2015 for over $400. Advertised by venue to day at a price of $40 per ticket.
I WENT on line to purchase tickets for Mirvish production's THE BOOK OF MORMON. I googled "tickets for book of Mormon" and what came up was "ticket-office-sales" for the production. I clicked on it thinking it was the Mirvish web-site and booked two tickets. The prices, i thought, were in Canadian funds and were for two tickets - later that day I realized I couldn't go and called Mirvish to cancel the tickets - they didn't know what i was talking about and i retraced the confirmation email for the tickets, and realized i had not been on Mirvish site, but this company called Ticket Office Sales - I then realized that they had sent me two, $70.00 tickets, in someone else's name, AND had charged me over 1,000 $ Cad!!!! UNBELIEVEABLE!!!! I called the toll free numer to Ticiet office sales and tried to cancel and they won't! SO I GOT STUCK WITH 1,000$ OUTRAGEOUS bill by these who won't call me back and trying to calll them is IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! I've sent emails and they've stopped responding to me. I have reported this fraud to VISA Canada, and to the RCMP here in Canada.
I bought 2 tickets for the Lion King at the Detroit Opera House. The cost at Ticket Office was $139.00 per ticket plus +6% tax and a service charge of $84 ,plus delivery fee of $16 for a total of $373. These extra charges were not showen until after the credit card was taken. The tickets came and on the ticket was the cost of $79. They won't refund anything. What a SCAM.
Tickets shipped to location that isn't open to pick up from, fees are incredibly high
Like all the other posts, the fees after purchase are incredibly high. So high in fact that you should never purchase through TicketOffices as it will always be cheaper to purchase through the venue.
Then, my tickets were shipped to a location after I wasn't home to sign. That location, despite what is noted online, is not open for pick up the days leading up to my event... Family business apparently and they don't happen to want to work. Despite me having no ability to get my tickets prior to the Nutcracker this weekend Ticketoffices refused to refund my purchase and offered instead to request another set of tickets gets sent to me from the seller. Sounds good, right? No, to "request" another set of tickets, not to "deliver", but to request, they charge another 15%.
So disappointed in myself for buying through this business. This company has no interest in their customers well being, and has no interest in retaining customers.
Interesting to note they list their investor, board and executive team no where on their site and when you click on "Press" it takes you to support. Apparently they gouge their customers, don't have executives and don't have any press worth sharing.
First they hijacked me from a legitimate site. Then they added fees which they did not disclose until after purchase. Then they, without prior indication, converted from Canadian to US dollars, since I purchased from Canada. Okay, maybe I'm stupid for not noticing when I got redirected, but these guys are taking huge advantage with very misleading practices. They deserve no stars.
Awful customer service. Bought two tickets to a sporting event and received them via email they were ticketmaster. I've purchased through ticketmaster before and they looked sketchy. I bought from ticketmaster expecting to end up reselling them because I was overreacting but the tickets were completely different! I called for a refund since they were clearly off only to hear attitude and saying that I have to be denied entrance at the door in order to even discuss receiving my money back. Moral of the story don't go through this site. Find a reputable site perhaps through the venue. Also like those who've written before me, the service fees are worse than big name sites.
I bought two tickets for $200.00 plus a service charge of $89.00 to the Gator Jam at the Miccosukee Resort & Gaming in Miami, Florida for March 5, 2016. Unfortunately, I purchased the tickets through a third party Ticket Office Sales based out of Chicago. Their refund policy is “If an event is permanently canceled, Ticket Office Sales will coordinate with the selling broker to provide you with a full refund of the ticket price, including any service fees. “ I’ve called Ticket Office Sales several times and they continue to say it’s a complete event and they have no notification the event was cancelled.
In addition, I’ve also call Miccosukee several times and their office verifies the event was cancelled and notified the credit card companies with a refund. In fact, the party that bought my tickets was refunded. I proceed to call Ticket Office Sales to speak with a supervisor. They did refund me $89.00 for the service charge but not the $200.00 for the tickets. The agents were very nice and doing their jobs however, it seems Ticket Office Sales is a SCAM and do not follow their own guarantees.
