While purchasing concert tickets online from Ticketmaster, my transaction was highjacked by an online second party-Ticket Galaxy/Master-Events.com. This transaction was conducted on October, 18th, 2018. I willingly contacted TicketMaster to purchase concert tickets for a performance by Mumford and Sons, at Little Cesar's Arena in Detroit, Michigan on March 27th, 2019. During my search for and purchase of 2 seats, my computer was unresponsive, as can happen during high volume attempts on line. After less than one minute, the site became responsive again and I completed my purchase from what I thought was TicketMaster. When my receipt came to me, it was from Ticket Galaxy/ Master-Events.com.
I became suspicious and went to a fraud alert sight online and searched for Ticket Galaxy. There were many complaints posted about TG on this site and specifically reports that described exactly what had happened to me. One of the complaints referred to the act as "highjacking" the transaction. I thought it was a good description. I have contacted my credit card company with these same details and they are going to dispute to transaction as soon as it is posted. This is, as I see it, a perfect description and indecent of internet fraud. All the while I was completing the transaction I thought I was dealing with TicketMaster, until the final receipt where I learned that I had been highjacked by another ticket vendor. They unlawfully and under false representation and pretence, stole my credit card information and personal information. I will be working diligently to see that my money is returned to me and that Event-Maser.com/Ticket Galaxy are brought to task.
This company is a rip off. don't purchase from them. they sold me tickets that were behind the strange and cannot be sold buy the venue. not only did they inflate the charges by 3 times they added an additional $150 "fee" totally thieves !
I purchased tickets to my home city baseball game, 5 tickets.. they charged me $215 on my invoice plus 'delivery of my e-ticket' aka emailing it to me. Then $53 for a misc expence? So fine, let's call that tax.. its $276 on my bill. Great. What do I see on my credit card statment? $375!! What the ficking hell. nearly $400 for 5 $43 tickets. Tell me how that makes any sense whatsoever, and also, why I wasn't informed of the total before I agreed to pay it?? Now I'm pissed off about this game which are my sons first baseball games. Thanks, jerks, for overcharging me!!!
I received an email saying I was selected to be able to purchase pre-sale tickets to Wicked at JQ Hammons in Springfield, MO. I attend A LOT of events at this venue so I was not surprised to receive notification. I went to the website, I could select the seats I wanted to purchase. The site was VERY MUCH like what the regular website was where I usually buy tickets. I was SHOCKED when I saw the prices but I know the popularity of this show so I was willing to pay. The cheapest tickets still available were priced at $127.each. I marked ok and selected insurance because of the price of the tickets and the event isn't until Feb. 14, 2016. I was surprised when I saw the $77.48 service fee but I was ok with it for the ability to buy the "pre sale" tickets. I paid also $15.00 delivery feel. I saw the total was $346.48 for the total. I said yes. I was SHOCKED when I got my tickets and the price ON THE TICKET is $79.00. I called the company and was told that is the "current market value" and that I got what I paid for. I said I did not!! I said I want either 2, $127 tickets OR my money refunded. She said that was the cost of buying "pre-sale". I said that is what the $77.48 service charge is for. She said the $77.48 service fee was a website fee to send my credit card information securely. I said I would not be satisfied until I received TWO $127 tickets with the price printed on the ticket, like was on the website OR my money refunded. She said that would not happen, have a nice day and hung up on me.
On August 30th I purchased tickets for Lecrae and For King and Country at Carowinds Paladium in Charolett NC Sept 26, 2015. When I got the reciept showing me where my seats would be I discovered the seasts do not exist. The receipt said Section A row 51. Tere is no row 51 in section A. Not only did they sell me seats that didn't exist, they also big time over charged me for the seats.
