HOW CAN I GET TOGETHER WITH ANYONE WHO HAS HAD THIS ISSUE.

THAT IS THE BUTTON I PUSHED TO CONTACT ANOTHER MEMBER.

THEIR REPORT WAS 2013 AND IT IS 2016 AND I'M VERY DISGUSTED AT THE FACT THAT THERE ISN'T ANY REALLY GREAT PLACES TO GO TO ON THE EAST COAST THAT I CAN HAVE MY FREE WEEK GET-A-WAY.

I JUST FOUND OUT THAT I'VE HAD A WEEK FREE AND LOST 6 WEEKS OF THEM BECAUSE NEVER AT ANYTIME DID THE RESERVATIONSIST SAY, HEY, DO YOU WANT TO USE ONE OF YOUR FREE WEEKS AND BECAUSE I'M SELDOM ABLE TO USE THEM I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE.

I'VE PAID 69-79 AND RECENTLY 99 A NIGHT FOR WHAT IS MY SPECIAL DEAL BEING A MEMBER SINCE 1983.

I'VE ASKED FOR THEM TO SEND MY ORIGINAL CONTRACT BUT IT DOESN'T ARRIVE AND I'M ABLE TO TRANSFER THIS MEMBERSHIP TO MY SON AND HIS SON.

JUST EMAIL ME AT dianesearfoss to help get things settled.

They've been trying to have a meeting on the phone and all I feel is that I'll be asked to buy again.

It was 3,000 to start and I added 600 for NACO (though the Jim Thorpe Beech Mountain dropped out)

and then antoher 6,000 (interest not accounted for) six years ago when Encore, Outdoor World etc. joined.

I also had a ONE YEAR RV World membership that I was lead to believe was every year going forward.

LIES AND THE QUALITY ISN'T UP TO THE BEST OF STANDARDS.

They're idiots. I should've known that when I received an email in all CAPS from the collections manager. Not to mention the terrible grammar and misspelled words. Did she finish grade school? I didn't know this company was based off Misssissippi. I laughed as it didn't surprise me. I also received a letter in the mail that was POORLY written. It was just so sad, I wanted to reply so bad with red ink. Learn to properly communicate first before trying to threaten members about paying their bill! I receive phone calls after I've made a payment and have already set up another post dated one. The rep tells me they're on an autodialer. I DO NOT CARE. If you are so incompetent (which can mean you're stupid) as to not hold that "autodialer" from dialing my phone number AFTER I've made a big payment and post dated my next one, I don't want to work with you! I have also complained about nonmembers, the parks, and some utility/assessment fee on my statement? Wtf is that? I spoke to a "Missippi" rep about this and she told me she will speak with the collections manager. I received no return call. After two weeks, I followed up. Spoke with the same rep and she proceeds to tell me that the collections manager says that she does not care and that I just need to pay my bill. I asked for her manager's name, she replied "Andrea." The name matched the letters and emails. How not surprising. Perfectly fine with me. I inquired on cancelling my membership and so did. I refuse to pay the remaining balance of what's owed. Because I just "don't care" just like their idiotic management doesn't. I typed my email IN ALL CAPS as well, cancelling my membership. Even included a misspelled word. They're so unprofessional and they're so disgusting. I refuse to give them another dime. Oh and by the way Thousand Trails and Andrea, your threatening letters just go in the garbage. Your tactics of scaring people is pitiful just like your company. Get a real job.

We joined Thousand Trails and made a reservation for a campsite at Carolina Landings for 8 nighst for our 43 foot fifth wheel and have to have 50 amp. We received email confirmation confirming our dates and campground. We left our campground in Springville Tennessee and was 5 hours to our destination at Carolina Landings in Fair Play, South Carolina. We received a call from the campground telling us that no 50 amp spot would be available for us when we arrive. They had five "reservations" for this spot and it was a first come first serve basis.

This is the first time we were told of this. I told them our fifthwheel could only work on a 50 amp site as we have dual air conditioners on one controller. I even called member services and left a message for the supervisor, Paula Straight to call me asap as we were on the interstate with our very large rig and now no reservation in an area we are unfimilar with. I never received a call back. I made numerous calls to Thousand Trails and Carolina Landings and still no place to go, even though we had a confirmed reservation.

I asked Mercedes, their reservationist, if she had a camper. She said no. I explained to her and everyone that is was not a useable reservation if the site won't fit our fifth wheel or have the correct electrical amp site. That is not a reservation. A reservation, is reserved, not first come, first serve!! Don't fall for this huge rip off company! Not even their free year trial you receive with purchase of new camper! It will ruin the time you took off work, your vacation and plans and cost you at least four times as much for last minute reservations someplace else. That is, if you can find a campground that can accomodate your rig at the last minute. Biggest camping membership rip off!!

Sent a message early this year about May 2015. Asked for support to get account back on track. I was told I would still be assessed late fees, which I agreed, although I know when its medical, I could ask for leniency. But, I made the monthly payments, at their recommendation to extract from my account. I asked that it not be taken before the 1st of each month, as I am limited on funds as a disabled person. Well, they processed a payment in July, took it on the 30th, and I had NSF fees to this payment and others. the last payment was to be September 1, but I didn't have the funds.

I informed the rep and made the payment Oct 6, where I informed them I was advised by my bank to do direct payment, rather than giving my account out over the phone. I asked to halt direct payment. I made the final balance payment on Oct 6, contacted the rep, where I was told that I was not to send to the address on Thousand Trails website as I have a locked account. I was not informed how to extract it back, but was asked to send a copy of the transaction.

I have been asking all along about making payments online to my account. I was told I could not make payments online till I was paid in full. Again, I paid my membership, late fees, and finance charges that were assessed. I asked for a 2016 statement to begin making payments as early as in November 2016.

Today, because I have heard nothing from Thousand Trails/Equity Lifestyles Property, I sent a follow up email asking for my statement to begin monthly payments. I get a nasty email stating that I am now to pay in one lump sum $516.02 and that my account will not be reactivated till this is paid!! I am already paid up for 2015, till December 31, 2015, but yet our family account is held hostage, until I pay more!

In this message from who states is a supervisor, Ms. Johnson states that I have to pay the $516.02 because I did not have my reinstatement document submitted in their office by October 15, 2015. I replied to let her know that I had no knowledge that this needed to be done, and that there had been a cut-off date to have it submitted. The only thing I was told by the person I was working with was to verify that my final payment was submitted.

I was not told how to retrieve the payment that went to their Arizona Office, which is the location it states on the www.ThousandTrails.com website as to where to submit membership payments! I have memberships with other places, AARP, Auto Club of Southern Cal, 24-hour fitness…etc, and once you are paid in full, you are reactivated to continue service! Thousand Trails/Equity Lifestyles Properties takes your money and give you absolutely nothing!! Its not right, and I am a fully disabled person, identified by our US Government Social Security and my several medical physicians, as well as being on a low fixed income!!

I have not been given the right information to getting this account in good standing, asked under Good Faith program, and they don't give all the details needed, give different and contradicting information. Our account is good till December 31, 2015 and I have been asking since May 2015 for a statement or access to pay online. They won't do it and we are held with shackles till we give them everything they want…. and more! Then to hear they are allowing non-members to access the park, take up member's property before us or given priority?!? Really makes us think if we should continue! Is there a class action law suit? Let's do it!!

We bought into the thousand trails camp ground membership and have a 3 generation membership. we recently went to forrest lakes in advance, nc and one night during our stay a group of people who had purchased a 5 dollar day pass, took over the adult pool with smoking and drinking beer and had under aged children there and they were loud and cussing and just running guests out of the area with their behavior, the manager was contacted the following day and all he wants to do is lease lots, no improvements have been made, paint is peeling and wood is rotting, weeds are in the pool areas, dogs are allowed to run at large and poop anywhere they want on lots with no dogs, golf carts are over loaded with passengers and driven by underage adults, whom spped and race throughout the preserve ithout reguard to safety of others. people can bump other campers out of a cabin or a site. They are interested in making the dollar at anyones expense and show no concern for the long time members or regular due payers, pictures have been taken and taken to meetings to show the lack of maintence at the preserve and members are ignored or asked to leave and not cause problems. if we paid for a private campground and our maintence dues how come we have to deal with john doe public who crawls in off the street and could care less, they just want a place to drop off thier kids for a day while they work or just to have a place to drink and smoke and make other people miserable. skin scales and dirt are in the hot tub, saw no water tests being done on either pool done at all. the putt-putt course needs lots of attention with broken bricks and timbers, over growth of weeds, not enough lighting at the course for play. To may sites leased so no site availkable for members to use when they arrive but they will lead you to beleive that there are sites there to be had, yeah right!! very few things for kids to do anymore, it advertises a store that is poorly stocked and over priced, thank goodness there is a food lion and a walmart close by. adults sat down one evening at the adult lodge pool and discussions about memberships, dues and etc. were discussed and alot of things that were covered up came out, even the embesslement of money by a manager there recently, gravel is needed thoughout the park and rebar poles are showing in various areas that pose a hazard to patrons feet and vechiles and have been dully documented by pictures and locations noted, the lake has no fish and no bait sold there for use. posion ivy is to be found every where that needs to be sprayed to be killed.
