They gave me three bad PV-500 Lite 3 DVR's. Each one had an assortment of issues: charging, filming, turning on, etc. In 6 months, I had to pay for shipping costs to send each one back. They would take a couple of weeks and mail me a "new" one. It came in packaging that clearly was not new; and one DVR had a piece missing, but they swore it was new. The last, third and final, DVR replacement turned on one day; then it would not turn on again. It was jimmy-rigged in the back. You could clearly see that the prungs in the back were bent and uneven. I called them and Jamie said all I needed was a charger. To his credit, they did send me a free charging kit, but the DVR still didn't work.
And I found out that the battery was bad, too. The DVR and battery were both defective! I put my back-up battery in the DVR, and it still didn't turn on. The last time I spoke with Jamie, he had the adacity to complain about all the shipping costs they had to pay to ship the defective DVR's to me. Some kind of nerve,.. If they would have sold me a reliable, decent DVR in the first place, we would not have been in that situation. I ended up having to spend over $400 to buy a DVR from another dealer. This company is unscrupulous, with horrible business practices. They sent me defective products on purpose. I hate this company! Buyer's beware. Thomas Investigations needs to be investigated!
