I called them the next morning immediately, and I explained to them (his name was Phero I believe) that I do not want to waste anyone's time and I would like to get a refund for that program.
I was fully confident since I thought these were legitimate people, and they would surely understand. But, was I wrong. He outright told me that due to "company policies", he will not able be able to issue the refund that I requested.
I explained my situation fully, telling him time after time that I won't be able to attend, and I would very much appreciate if he issues me the refund and I move on from all this. But he won't under any circumstances.
