The Warranty Group, Inc. Reviews
I totaled my vehicle in December. I needed a car for work. Because Gap insurance was not paid I could not finance new vehicle. I paid my lender off what gap should of paid so that I could get a new car for work. The warranty group wants every document known to mankind. All documents were sent to the by myself, then from the location I had bought the care from and then the new dealership that I was getting the new car from. Then I sent them again. The warranty group says we did not get them or we need more documents over and over. They have been faxed, sent overnight mail and still nothing. 6 months and I have not been reimbursed by the warranty group for paying off there claim. Sent docs again on 6/6/18 overnight mail. 6/7/18 I called them and they told me they wanted a tracking number. I gave them the number and they said nothing is coming up. I then told them that i ran the number and have found that you have the docs and they were delivered. I told them they are lying to me and they hung up. I have MS, and stress is my biggest downfall. I AM NOW STRESSED beyond belief.. I will be taking legal action against this company and hope that a attorney will consider a class action as I can not be alone on this type of outrages behavior. Check with your dealership and make sure they have someone else for GAP. stay AWAY, far away from the warranty group. Shame on this bs company and shame on the dealerships that use them 6 months and counting Steve
I purchased a new 2017 Kia Sorento on January 3, 2017 from a Kia dealship in Franklin Tn. It got financed with Kia motors and GAP insurance was included and added to finance. I had the vehicle refinanced with State Farm Bank and was told to cancell GAP insurance as it is included. I read the policy i was given by the Automotive Warranty Services Inc., and followed their instructions to cancell. I returned to my dealership as per their instructions and fileda cancellation. I was tols to allow 6-8 weeks for processing. In early March i contacted the Automotive Warranty Group and was told that yes they recieved the cancellation and that it would be refunded 100% as per the contract.
On April 24, 2017 i still hadnt recieved the refund so i once again caontacted them and was told it was being "processed" and that i should recieve the refund no later than May 9, 2017.
May 12, 2017 i called once again and after being on hold for 37 minutes, and disconnected, I called again and after being on hold for another 41 minutes, i finally was connected to a totallu differernt division. when i asked to speak with a Mgr., i was rudely told that my " cancellation" could not be located..
