Because it is a Right to work state which means the state does not govern your employee from following OSHA safety guidelines so when you fall off a ladder that has the 9th and 10th picket broken and you fall down to your death? There's nobody to blame but yourself because Arizona doesn't care what their employers do and reward them if they don't follow the OSHA guidelines.
There are No unions to protect your rights the workers rights that make employers rich. That is why Arizona made themselves a right to work state and employers and the State of Arizona can give a d**n less if you wind up paralyzed and ruined the rest of your life as long as the employer is making money off of your labor hours.... I rather pay $100 a week towards union dues at least I know the union is protecting my well-being and my rights.

So when you get hurt they allow you to die (there's no workers compensation) and there's no help for workers and I will state this In Arizona the cost of living is 3 times more to live in and you get no services like in New York and California where if you have to take a 3 Mile ambulance ride it won't cost you $2,600 because the fire departments send a ambulance of no charge to bring you in an emergency to receive help.
