Rob Bowen, owner and manager at the parts farm llc, Sold me a car and specified he would only take a wire transfer. When car arrived it came with no paperwork of any kind. I called 4-5 times on cell and office number and recieved voicemails, left several messages, a month goes by. Sent demanding email , and demanding texts to Robs personal phone ,a nd his assistant matt, he said it was "all your fault and he would send it out next day"
Twoo weeks went by , sending emails, texts and leaving voicemails, finally I was told "there was a problem with the paperwork" and they needed all my info AGAIN....keep in mind they delivered the car to me and knew where I was.
Another month of back and forth, and finally they send me a paket of 30 pages or so to fill out, and in the stack was a waiver of liability, stating I would agree to arbitration and would give up my right to sue....
When I said I wasnt signing all this extra paperwork to his benefit only, his response was "why dont you cry some more about it"
after this company takes your money, they turn nasty, delay stall, and do anything to aviod you , and dont give a rats a$$ about you as a human being or customer. I will never ever use them for any reason in the future.
I ordered an axle listed advertised as having a 3.55 axle ratio. I paid for the axle $599.99 plus $240.00 in freight. I recieved an axle that has a 3.15 ratio. When contacted the response from Rob was inept. At first he stated the axle ratio couldn't be changed. That is not true. I will have to pay an additional $532.00 to change the axle ratio. When I informed Rob of this he stated that he might give a $100.00 credit for my trouble. This is insane, and totally unsatisfactory. The Parts Farm made the mistake of misrepresenting the axle that was posted for sale. Do not do business with this company, they are either dishonest or incompetent.
Purchased a near $9,000 motor and trans from Parts Farm. Delivered weeks late (have yet to test it out). Also purchased a center console ($99). Did not ship center console with Mustang.
Ignored emails for info on the console. Ignored texts. Finally replied after I threatened PayPal dispute. But... Parts Farm still did not deliver. Went on to later threaten with texts, verbatim: "You don't know me" "GO F#CK YOURSELF". Learn how to run a business, Rob. Lastly- you don't reply on weekends? I didn't know you considered Friday morning a weekend. Must be nice to work 4 days a week.
I was looking to purchase a Mustang GT 350 Voodoo engine initially, asked if price was negotiatable, Rob said he has a cheaper engine after I told him I am looking for a good "low mileage" less than 15,000 miles on it. So he tried to sell me one with 45,000 miles and poorer condition. Not what I asked for.
Then he said he could sell me the whole car for $21,500, so I asked a few more questions, some answers ok, others were very snarky. When I was about to place the order to buy, Rob then said the whole car is $22,500. After calling him out, he states he will honor the price. By now I realised he was unethical and would keep changing prices, so after this, I decided to purchase elsewhere.
A few days later he writes back asking me to buy somewhere else. This Rob cannot be trusted, I also took sometime to rtead up about this character, only to find out he has many complaints about the same issue I am complaining about. Simply put, he tries to rip people off, and from his reviews sells his customers parts that are not as described.
