The Original In & Out Express Pizza Reviews
It saddens me when restaurant business establishments move into predominately black influence neighborhoods and treat everyone and low-level criminals. I recently moved into the W. Oak Ln. neighborhood two months ago. Just like everyone elsein America I received on my doorstep almost every day fliers entice me to purchase from their establishment. When I did decide to actually give The original In & out express pizza located on 5811 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19141 (215)548-8885 a chance to retain me as a loyal customer I did I did not get the quality service that you would expect from the so-called The Original In & Out Pizza express
My initial order from this pizza shop consisted of their family combo number three. This combo contained two cheesesteaks, two orders of french fries and a 2 liter soda equally $18.99+ plus tax and delivery not including the tip. I'm a very detailed oriented individual who knows exactly what I ask for when I order it.
Just like most Americans out there, I'm not a fan of saggy french fries or very mushy rolls when my food is delivered nor do I like my food Luke warm or cold food either. I ask the young lady to please toast my french fries extra, extra well done so my french fries will come crispy by the time they get here and also repeated the same for my role to be toasted extra well done so it will come crunchy as well. When I received my order my food was cold and also the bread was soggy and the french fries were cold and limp. I didn't want to make a big deal of it because I gave him the benefit of the doubt that maybe the driver was extra busy. By the way this order was in the amount of close to $24.00. I decided to give this one more chance to get it right.
This time when I called I explained to the young lady what took place on my last previous order. She informed me no such thing happens that her food always goes out hot and correct. I proceeded to order and explain to her once again how like my food delivered to me since I'm paying for it I asked her politely and articulately as I could for her to understand how imperative it is for me to get my correct order. The young lady continue to get a little huffy with me because I'm asking for my food to come correctly. I knew not to say anything harsh to her because you know how food restaurants are in America they will do anything to your food just to get even with you, so I kept it as businesslike as possible. She informed me that my food will be there in 30 to 45 minutes that was the end of my second call . 40 minutes later my food arrived at the door and before I even had a chance to check the food the driver took his tip and he was gone. I am immediately called the store to inform them that the order was not correct once again. I explained to the young lady that the food was not right and can she please send the driver back to retrieve it and replace it she told me no. I explained to her that I was entertaining company that's why ordered the food from her restaurant and can she please send the driver back to get this to correct it, once again she told me no. I explained to her that I did not have time to come there and bring it back myself and I've already paid for delivery and also tip the driver and she still would not send him back. When I told her I would stop into talk to the management she told me no problem and to bring the food with me I told her I'm not going to have food sitting around in my house for a couple days until I can get there.
The second order was placed on a Tuesday and by the time I had a chance to get to her establishment was on a Sunday. When I walked into the establishment I was a little disturbing on how the actual place looked I've never seen it before due to the fact that I just moved to this neighborhood. When I walked up to the counter I realize that the woman that I was speaking to with a very harsh voice was the same young lady that I had ordered from the last two times. The young lady that approach me look like she was on she Heroin and she had multiple missing teeth in multiple tattoos all over her body with a very distinct look of drug usage. I'm not saying that someone who uses drugs cannot efficiently do their job, but it does play a factor in how well they do. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me how can I help you. I reminded her who I was and that I came to get my order we placed for the food it did not come correctly for the second time. I showed her pictures of the food in containers in the trash and also being eaten by my dog. So that she can see I did not consume the food like most people would lie and say they didn't eat it but they did. She walked away to talk to another customer and answer the phone to take an order, when she walked away she said what is your number. Thinking that she was talking to me so she can pull up my previous order I started to give her my number. She got nasty with me telling me she wasn't talking to me in a very nasty tone. I apologize to her and let her know that I thought she was and she still continues to get nasty. I informed her that I owned my own business and that I would never treat any customer that came to my door in this manner.
That's when she told me to get out of her store and I said no problem that I am and I was also going to report The Original In & Out Pizza express, located on 5811 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19141 (215)548-8885 for health violations that I saw in her establishment. That's when she told me that she was going to call the cops and proceeded to Dolly call the cops and informed him that I was causing a major disturbance in the store when I spoke to her very eloquently just in case she did replace my order, I would not have to worry about anything being spit or thrown into the food.
So to sum this up once again I am out of another $24 and very pissed off that people have to deal with this type of establishment and they can get away with it. I'm warning other customers do not patronize The Original In & Out Pizza express, located on 5811 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19141 (215)548-8885 without actually going into establishment to see how dirty is before you order food for your kids and yourself. Even if they offered to replace both orders of my food, I would not want it. I would just want my $48 back. The Original In & Out Pizza express, located on 5811 N.
