The Leisure Group, LLC Reviews

We paid $5995 for a travel service that promised us discounts all around the world. We specifically told them we are not typical travelers; have no interest in Branson, Myrtle Beach or Caribbean cruises. We take a monthlong trip every year to mostly exotic and 3rd world countries. We were promised discounts all over the world.

Booked 1st trip to Vanuatu and Fiji; 1st prices we were quoted were no different than what I found on internet. Then told to deal with VIP agent; Dae. He took 4 MONTHS to book me 5 hotels! Kept saying they used the wrong vendor, reason for delay.

Finally got things booked. One hotel had "guaranteed rebate" of $462. Another hotel had rebate of $158. Never received either rebate.

Tried to book next trip to Malaysia. After calling and e-mailing repeatedly for a month, never got any quotes or assistance.

I requested my money back, was told because it's over a year, they can't refund, & their service works. If you can't get quotes or assistance, and the prices are the same as I can book myself, and they don't refund "Guaranteed Rebates," the service doesn't work!

I want my money back!

My wife and I attended a presentation in August 2015 at a hotel in St Augustine Fl. We were impressed by the presentation which promised discounted vacations by showing "current prices" found on the internet compared to The Leisure Group's/RSI pricing of approximately 1/2 the internet cost. We have to note that "The Leisure Group" is a dealer of Reservation Services International (RSI).

We were skeptical but went ahead and traded in our Marco Island Fl Timeshare (which we loved) toward the $10K purchase price for membership. We ended up paying $4645 plus our timehare.

We have now discovered that the "Promotional Gift" of a "free cruise" and a 3 day fly/stay vacation is a waste of time/money. There are so many strings attached to the "free gift" that it's almost impossible to take advantage of any of it.

Moreover, we discovered that when we tried to book several cruises through The Leisure Group/RSI, the cost ends up being about $100 to $150 dollars less than the cruise company's price for the exact same cruise/time/cabin. At a savings of $150 it would take 31 vacations just to recover the $4650 that we paid or 67 vacations to recover the real cost of $10K. When it's time to pay the $199 annual renewal fee for our membership, we'll save the money and let the membership lapse.

We advise anyone reading this to throw away those Promotional Offers, stay home and save your money.
