We hired and retained, the fresnoevictionlawyers aka Niklas K. Hugosson, to get some illegals out of a rental that we own. Nik was all over us when we first came into his office. But once the check was written, we hardly heard from him. Call after call, email after email, then finally--after several attempts to find a closed office we caught Nik Hugosson at his desk.
We were yelled at, insulted, and told by his partner that we were taking up theirvaluable time---they would not answer questions about the process. We were shown to the door. Weeks went by, we made another attempt. 5 days later Precious, his assistant returned calls. Two weeks after a court date deadline, we find out they have not responded. Wonderful. Sloppy! Incompetent and very unprofessional. His SOP if you do get him on the phone is to tell you he has a client waiting, then hangs up on you.
Personally, I think they are clowns. Niks partner is the Disney Clown with Nik following not too far behind him in his footsteps. But we don't hire in personality, we hire lawyers to do a job.
Now 3 weeks later we go to the court-clerks office ourselves to see the file. No filings.
This moron lawyer stiffed us again. After they get your money you are ignored. There are many very good attorneys here in town that handle this sort of simple unlawful detainers and evictions. WE had to choose these clowns. NEVER again. Not only are the tenants destroying our property, but our attorney is also MIA. He bragged about his 150-acre ranch.
Maybe Hugosson needs to go back to the 2nd rate law school he graduated from, and learn how to treat clients, and file paperwork on time before the California BAR Association comes down on this clown. There is a good possibility that a complaint WILL be filed with the California State BAR Association on the fresnoevictionatttorneys et al.
Nik seemed like a decent guy upon first meeting. He claims to be a son of an immigrant from Sweden, but his actions to rid us of our illegals from our property has been a nightmare. We ran this whole mess past another attorney who will be taking over this eviction case ASAP.
Sadly, this local law school is pumping out by the dozens of these lawyers who probably would be best served selling used cars, or working at AM/PM---not being a lawyer. Sadly for the fresnoevictionattorneys, the word is spreading among other lawyers on how sloppy and incompetent their representation is. The law school has an abysmal bar passing rate. It shows with these two lawyers.
I would not recommend these guys to anyone. What they charge and what you will get out of it---go elsewhere. There are many good civil eviction lawyers in this area that keep their clients informed and up to date on the proceedings. Niklas Hugosson and his partner don't care. Once you pay them your money its over. You are dirty laundry.
