I stayed here one after reading the positive reviews obviously posted by the owner. Room was dirty and very basic, with no carpet or tile; no soap or other toiletries as you would expect in a hotel at this price. However the real problem is the scam artist owner.
I prepaid the room on Priceline but they wanted my debit card for "incidentals". What incidentals, they dont have anything for sale in the lobby. The clerk said it in case the room was damaged. Really? Ok, so on checkout I had the clerk check the room and she said everything was fine. Since I purchased no "incidentals", she said they would not charge my card.
Upon returning home I see a charge of $100 from Hotel Sync on my card. Since it was a debit I have no recourse other than to ask the owner to credit it which I did, and he refuses to respond.
Dont stay here!!! IT is a scam they are running as most people I am sure just let it go. There are better hotels at that exit for the same money that are chain owned, rather than private as this one is.
I did not let it go. I filed a complaint with the Bowling Green Police, the Kentucky Attorney General, The Federal Trade Commission, and send a letter to IRS. Maybe that will get the attention of this scam artist.
