I used The Honest Company's wellness, diapers, and essentials bundles monthly. My debit card changed. When the orders tried to process, I was sent an error message. I went on the Honest app and updated my diaper bundles and my debit card number. This was a $64 order. However, it immediately, without warning started processing all 3 bundles at once. It did not even ask me to update the other 2 bundles. So, it processed a $64 order plus 2 additional $44 orders with items I did not want for a total of $152 in charges. I immediately contacted the chat help. The girl was not helpful or very nice. She told me she requested for the orders to be cancelled but it would not be a guarentee. I told her there was not enough money on that card and they weren't even items I wanted. Not even one apology and no help. I have sent several emails. They made me bounce bills in that account. They are not only unempathic and unapologetic, the only thing they have done is tell me they emailed me a single return label and that they will refund my money when the package is returned. There was no label attached to the email and I need 3 labels. I have told them this twice and they have not fixed it. I am done with their products and services. I have spent hundreds of dollars in a year on this company. I feel like they are not Honest. They stole my money and are making me jump through hoops to get it back.
I signed up for their "free" trial of diapers to see if they were something we should use for our baby. The trial costs almost $6 for shipping and handling and you get automatically enrolled in their almost $80/month bundle if you don't cancel within 7 days of RECEIVING your trial. I ordered it on Saturday, received it on Wednesday, and when I looked at my bank account on Thursday, they had already charged me almost $80 for the next bundle before I had even had a chance to try them. I called customer service and asked why they had already charged me and she claimed that I requested the $80 bundle be shipped (I did not) the following day. She said that it had not yet shipped, but since it was preparing to be shipped, she could not cancel it. She said she could reroute the shipment to go back to their warehouse and once the warehouse received it, I could request a refund. I return home today and find the bundle waiting outside of my front door and my bank account still charged.
