Won a bid on eBay with giftstreet123 and they sent the wrong watch and it was also not working. Tried to contact them through eBay and got no reply. Sent pictures of the incorrect watch and the packing slip clearly showing the watch model I was supposed to get. I’m hoping eBay will step in and help but from what I’ve read in other reviews when it comes to giftstreet123 they are not really helpful. Bottom line is I won’t be purchasing any more from giftstreet123. It’s better to use authorized dealers as might pay more but get better service. This was a bait and switch operation if I ever saw one. Fair warning that with giftstreet123 you pay your money and maybe you get your purchase as ordered but with them not even replying to my issue with them I am probably out the money. I am going to spread the word about them far and wide to not do business with them.
Pro Diver from Invicta that couldn't even go swimming
bought a Invicta Pro Diver watch from giftstreet123 and a week later went swimming in a 4 foot pool. When I got out an hour later, they watch was full of water and no longer running. Giftstreet123 tried telling me that since I had thrown away the original box and tag, they could not return my money or offer to fix the watch. What a bunch of loser moron bitches.
I Purchased 3 Invicta Watches and they placed the same tracking number on those items plus 3 other watches which I had received 2 weeks prior BUT the only sent one watch in a 12 oz package with that tracking number. I did an "item not received" but Ebay only see's the fact that he shipped the item even though I sent them pictures of the small package containing only 1 watch and not 3.
I had already won 4 other items from them and they did the same exact thing. They put tracking number on one watch. I asked numerous times for the tracking for the other 3 watches, but they kept telling me all 4 watches have the same tracking number. I received the package and again it only contained 1 watch. Again, I reported it to Ebay and they said the same thing, because they show it was shipped (even though he only put the tracking numbers on the items after I filed a claim). I uploaded the pictures of the box I received only containing 1 watch.
This has never happened before. But Ebay seems to be blind to the scam, even though I'm showing them the pictures of the actual item received from the post office with the tracking number and the size of the package being extremely small an not large enough to contain 4 invicta boxes.
I had purchased a watch from this company that said they are "authorized" and that they have the best prices on Zodiac watches. I was very impressed at the photos and that they had great prices and were not overly inexpensive, which is uaually a dead giveaway that they sell only junk. When I purchased the watch it showed up within a few days and right out of the box it fit.
After two months the back piece came right off on my wrist and with ease, Zodiac said to send it in for a repair at a repair center of theirs. It took over a month, but they finally sent it back and it was great, at least for a week. While out with my wife that back again came off. When I called the repair center they had told me that this watch was purchased from a non authorized dealer and they couldn't fix it anymore. After carrying on a bit with the manager, they reluctantly sent me a tag to send it back and they would see what they could do.
They sent it back to me and told me that the watch was not the quality they are used to. In fact the original notes though I glued the back piece on because there was a "glue glob holding the rim in tact." When I told them I sent it in exactly as I got it they said they suspect it is a counterfit. When I contacted The Giftstreet or giftstreet123.com they would not answer my me back.
I tried calling them and got a woman for roughly 30 seconds to tell her that of the problem I was having with the watch that was purchased from them less than siz month prior. However she immediatley hung up and would not answer the phone after I called back. So now I am stuck with a piece of junk that is unusable and am out a couple hundred bucks.
Stay away from The Giftstreet LTD with all your might. Do not purchase anything form them becuase they seem to be fakes.
