I went to sell my amazon gift card thru www.Thegiftcardexchange.Net they wanted the number on the card for an estimate. I put in the number and they stated they would give me $45.50 for the $50.00 amazon gift card and if i wanted to accept it and i did. Then a screen popped up that there was a problem with the number. I decided just to use it on amazon and amazon said it was already used and applied to another account. They stole my $50. Is there anything i can do?
Has very impressive web site probably due to how much money they have stolen.
I had a $100.00 Nordstrom Gift card that I attempted to exchange. The web site offered me $92.00 for it so I followed the prompts including the card number and security number. When I went to submit there is an error message that comes up before you can enter your information.
I made a second attempt but the card came up as already submitted and would not let me process it. There is a chat bubble that when you click it takes you to a contact via email page despite the claim there are people standing by to chat.
There is no phone number and as far as I can tell no physical address. I sent several emails with no response.
When my daughter attempted to use the card she was told that there were no funds on the card.
i started a sale of my gift card on thier website and got an error. next day my balance was 0. so far all attempts to contact the company have resulted in no communication.
On 11/22, I requested a quote from their website on 2 $50 Bed Bath Beyond Cards. Upon trying to accept their offer, I received error messages, and did not get any further. I recently tried to use my cards, and now they both have a $0 balance. I have attempted several times to contact someone at the company, but there is no phone number, And my attempts submitting a message through thier webiste has returned no response.
I was able to find the owner of the the domain of the email addresses, and still no resolution. Very frustrated, as these were wedding gifts, and very much needed this time of year.
