Made arrangements to receive a puppie from Patricia John in Silver Springs, Md. She made the arrangements for transport and the company fresh pets relocators contacted me by email and then by phone. They wanted the money for the delivery service so I did a moneygram and received the delivery information. They sent me another email and phone call the next morning 12/27/15 and wanted to add 2 shots for the puppy and a special crate to send the puppy from Charleston, So Carolina. I called and questioned the request and was told there were atmospheric changes ans the special crate had to be rented and I would have to pay upfront by moneygram and then would be reembursed on delivery. I called the Charleston airport to find out if there were conditions requiring these changes and was told No this was a pet scam. When I called them back the man on the phone was hostile when I told him what the air athorities had told me. I refused to pay the charges. The woman who was sending the dog cancelled the transaction and said she was having the puppy sent back to her. I informed her and the relocators both that I was the customer who had paid for the service and I expected delivery as promiced. To date the company does not answer the phone you must leave a message and they have not returned my calls or emails. Today I tried to chat on line to ask for the company address and Arnold Smith would not respond. I also contacted the local athoroties and of course I will not have any assistance. Civil court procedings that are as expensive as the puppy. Please make this known so no one else is scammed.
