I purchased a few items from Ted Owen and never met such a rude auctioneer in all my life. I have proof of the following: Scammed bidding, last bid was £1500 bid increments were £100, all of a sudden the next bidders max bid was £3000 so surprisingly the item jumped to £3000. Not the £1600 it should of went to.
Autographed item was meant to come with a photo of the signer signing the item, this was never received. Further authentication was sent to a 3rd party authenticator and item turned out to be non authentic.
When I told this to Ted Owen he stated: Got to trading standards and take a copy of our terms and conditions.
Your not getting your money back as I've already spent your money you fool... (His exact words)
I would avoid anything they or he sells. Save yourself the hassle and being a part of someone's fraudulent schemes.
