Laffey, in a pre-arranged agreement with the cranston police department, agreed to grant local police and fire fighters with new safety complexes and pensions in exchange for eliminating the competition and rigging the 2002 mayoral election. While using high ranking individuals in the city and state would have sparked questions in going after laffeys competition, the brain trust of earl croft (cranston resident), robert murray(cranston resident), walter craddock (cranston resident), robert pirraglia (cranston resident), steve laffey (cranston resident who was imported back from Tennessee for this rigging) came up with the scheme to utilize crofts son, bishop hendricken head football coach keith croft, who would have lost his job had he been caught, (cranston resident), and family friend and possible butt buddy, david exter (cranston resident) to stalk and harrass laffey’s competition and then falsify charges against him through the above individuals with corrupt cranston cops matthew davis (cranston resident), erik baccari (cranston resident), officer pezzullo (cranston resident), matthew ricci (cranston resident) and captain carnevale (cranston resident) (you should see a pattern developing here)amongst others who ran and hid and retired who were all part of the scheme. They attempted to utilized falsified charges and falsified mental health diagnosis obtained by individuals at fatima hospital in north providence, ri and corrupt doctor and police lacky rita kurl, and connections at the providence center and gateway health to do so, as well as corrupt court employee and pre trail services evaluator don bolen, all of which are standard conduct when an individual is targeted and the decision to discredit this individual is made.
Specifically, these individual targeted the subjects website, which they stalked to find and then tried to convince others that the innocent victim had forwarded to them. They wanted to try to twist the sites contents so as to make it look like something it was not. What the site was, and is, is exposing the wrong doing in the city of cranston and the state of rhode island. And they didn’t want that because it exposes their wrong doing. Knowing that they could not go after the site directly because it would have violated the innocent victims freedom of speech, attorney robert murray of cranston set up the individual by having his clients keith croft and david exter falsify charges though pirraglia, craddock and davis, in another way, for something that wasn’t a crime, so that they could then try to drag the website into the case that way and try to make themselves look like heros for something the created out of thin air. Thus saying the individual had forwarded the site them, which didn’t happen. by saying the individual had committed a crime against them, which he didnt. they did. These individuals, inclusive of judge pirraglia, saw the website as an opportunity to twist the contents of, so that they themselves could not only capitalize on the rigging of the election, but also stop, or at least twist the contents of the website to try to achieve fame for themselves by trying to capitalize on all of the attention paid to the contents of webistes at that time, and at the same time prevent people from knowing the truth of their corruption. Had this played out the way it should, this case would have been the definative case on freedom of speech regarding webistes in the history of the internet. This case is the most important case that would have then, and still can, define the freedoms alotted indivduals regarding not only the internet, but free speech in general in the modern world.
