I have never seen a more poorly run office than this one, and I've been to dozens of doctors in my life. I wonder if their doctors know how bad they and their staff are. In Dec. 2018, I went there and saw Dr. Robert Lins because of a swollen finger.

He took and X-Ray and told me I had a bone tumor in my finger. I asked him if he could remove it, and he told me he doesn't do tumors. Funny, his business card says he does hand surgery. He told his receptionist Jessica to schedule me for a MRI, and then he tells me that there is only one doctor that can do the surgery, a Dr. Juan Pretell, and he operates out of Miami Hospital.

Then he tells me that the hospital takes my insurance. He fails to tell me the doctor does not. It is his or his staff's responsibility as the referring doctor to find me a participating hospital and doctor with my insurance. They were incapable of doing that.

On my way out, Dr. Lins tells me, " If you are in pain, just go to Miami Hospital Emergency Room, and they will admit you and take care of everything." Since I was in pain, and felt he could do no more for me, the next day I went there by taxi, ( 65 miles from my house ) and the staff there looked at me like I was nuts for coming there.

They told me that Dr. Lins should have never sent me there - I had no hospital affiliated doctor there, and no MRI. They told me to go back home and take care of the MRI myself and go back to Dr. Lins. Now I had to pay for another taxi to go to the MRI center near my house, take the MRI, and then another taxi to go home.

I went back to Dr. Lins two days later with the MRI, and told him what he did to me. He said, " I thought they would admit you." He acted like he did nothing wrong. When I told him I had to spend over $100 in taxis because of him, he acted like he didn't care. He didn't offer any reimbursement at all. Typical doctor or lawyer - they never will admit when they make a mistake that cost you.

Then he tells me he can't do anything more for me, and " Good luck." Turned out the doctor he referred me to refused to participate with my health insurance ( the greed is incredible with these surgeons ) and I had to go to NYC for my surgery, where my insurance is not a problem. Then I got bills from Miami Hospital for the ER visit - over $800.

I never saw a doctor there, and the woman ( who didn't identify herself to me) told me they couldn't do anything for me never examined my finger, refused to look at my X-Ray, and refused to send me for an MRI. They only offered me pain medication, which I could have gotten anywhere. I spent days calling Dr. Lins' office manager Maryann, who would never answer or return my calls, and when she picked up the phone ( a rare event there ) I told her what Dr. Lins did to me and what he cost me. She was speechless.

Then she asks me, " So we have to call all over to find you a doctor ?" I told her, as per my health insurance agent, it IS the referring doctor's responsibility to find a participating hospital and doctor. She had no comment, nor did she offer to pay the expenses they caused me. Then this office had the audacity to bill me for their X-ray.

I sent them back the bill with a long letter telling them that I don't owe the any money, they owe me, and that that should be suing them. They keep billing me. As if the above was not bad enough, it gets worse. When I was seeing Dr. Lins, I told him I had some bad pain on my foot. He tells me he doesn't deal with feet, and refers me to another doctor in the practice that takes care of feet - Dr. Robert Rochman.

I went to see him and showed him where it hurt. He pushed and twisted my foot trying find the right spot and could not find it. Then he took an X-ray, and told me he didn't see anything wrong with my foot. He puts a patch on my foot with a battery that lets out a form of Advil, telling me I must have twisted my foot. When I told him I felt something was seriously wrong in my foot, he says, " I can order an MRI if you want, but I don't know if your insurance will approve it, because I can't find anything wrong with your foot."

I looked at him like he was nuts. I told him to order the MRI, and write that I am in pain, that should be good enough. I had to push him to do his job. More incompetence. Turned out the foot problem was so severe I needed surgery. So much for Dr. Rochman and this office. I never went back to him. Then, once again they are billing me for an X-ray.

In April 2019, I tried to contact another one of their doctors, Dr. Veronica Pedro for additional surgery for my finger. I asked their office staff if she performs a special surgery, and no one could tell me. They tell me to call Dr. Pedro's surgical assistant Mary. I called her 4 times in one week, she never called back. I sent a complaint through their website about this. No call back. I'm done with this office. One lazy, incompetent fool after another. Stay away from this office.
