The Cat Clinic Reviews
I am sadden to have to write this report- as I loss my persian cat of 16yrs today. I could not, not write this report as I needed to Warn the public about this Clinic and those in it. Addtionally, if you have a dying, injured or wounded cat- Please do not take them to this place- it will be your worst nightmare.
On 2/26/20 our belove Persian was injured and possibly hit by a car after getting our of the house, without us seeing her leave. We were devasated as she is a loving home cat, that never goes outside, unless we take her.
We panic we rushed her to this place, knowing that we would have her safe- worst thing that could have happened to us. We entered the clinic with her lifeless body wrapped in a blanket- tears running down our eyes and totally in disbief. They took her in the back and I started feeling out the paper work to get started on how they could help her.
A women came to the front- mind you did not ask us anything BUT wanted to know- "if you have enough money to pay the bill- and do you give consent for the Dr. to do whatever"- blank stare 'uhmm, ok- so what are we dealing with- I was handed an estimate of $1, 285.58- and told that " it will probably be more than this" another blank stare???? So, I signed the paper as money was not an issue for our dying persian of 16yrs.
I was rather distrubed, that the sensitivity was not all there, given the circumstances. Although, after reading the reviews on Yelp- others too have experienced this same interaction. People are not just making this up.

I got a call and stepped outside and shortly was summoned to come in as the Dr. (Allen) was coming in..... 15 mins later.
Are you ready for this? She walks in and did not introduce herself ( got her name off the pics on yelp with the terrible reviews) Started yelling "let's get one thing straight- I am the Dr. in this place and will not tolarate disrepesct to my staff" Wow- what???? We did not have an issue with your staff, what are you talking about???
Now mind you, our cat was dying and this was the intial conversation this nut wanted to have with us. We were utter shocked and loss of words. At this point it was clear that staying here we not be a good idea. Well we stated, "we have no idea what your talking about- but we want to leave, so give us our cat- we will go someplace else" "Get out- I'm calling the police- Our cat once we got her back and headed to the car, went into convulsions- we rushed her to another place, that took good care of her to try to save her life.
These money craved NOTHING done to preserve her life not an IV- pain meds- we had no consult NOTHING to tell us anything on what we were looking at. So Of course- start IV- give something, is what we were expecting- yet we knew nothing of what this was, instead we were yelled at as an intial visit- NO concern for the well being of our cat was ever rendered. But yelling, that she wanted us out to and would call the police! Call the police for what? We left and the rest will be legally dealt with later.
This Dr. Allen is clearly insane and will be reported- perhaps if someone else reads this and has a similar problem REPORT this crazy unprofessional women- so that she can answer for her license= now you work for me! Lol https://www.vmb.ca.gov/
Sadly, My persian passed away today! My heart is broken that when we sought help from this lunitic- that clearly came off to us as racist and more concerned about 'checking us" on something I can not imagine was stated. We did all we were asked to do- who has time or energy to insult staff and act a fool when you clearly NEED help. Very mean spirited group of people that will reap what they sow.
Dr. Allen, you and your staff ( had no clue that these women at the front desk are devils- (robotic, wage slaves) have been a disgrace to this community and continue to cause great grief to loving families because of your ignorance, failure to communication properly , unpressional-deporable conduct and greed! May you reap what you have sown- when you age and have a harvest to reap concerning your health- as you have poorly attended to the health of my loved ones- I pity you!
Gave a $200 deposit for The Cat Clinic. Needed to reschedule appointment. The Cat Clinic kept the deposit and would not transfer it to subsequent appointment.
Exaggerated and lied about expenses after providing no services. Would have been appropriate to keep $50 for a missed appointment, but $200 is taking advantage. While the number of cat vets in the south suburbs is minimum, I would not recommentd this one or return myself.
Service is average, charges are extremely high. I would not recommend this Vet to anyone. There is a sense of abusing their customers for the sake of money and more money and the staff is usually rude in my opinion.
