I ordered a product from this site/company. The device was supposed to boost wifi signal. I followed the instructions that came with it and hooked it up. It did nothing, but blink some lights it had on it. I wasted $49.95 plus the shipping.
The only contact the company has is an email address: [email protected] this is all that is available to make contact for any reason. The return policy stated that contact must be made in order to get authorizaion to make a return. I mailed and mailed and mailed, numerous times with no response.
Next, i contacted the host service of the gadgets website which is shopify.com and informed them of the same and asked for assistance to at least help me get in contact with "the best gadgets". Shopify.com refused to do so. I asked them why not and they refused to give a reason. This tells me that when shopify.com refuses to be part of the solution, they are part of the problem, and suspiciously, at that.
One of the last mails that i sent to [email protected] was to inform this company that if it did not timely respond, that i was going to post a report here at scamion. I waited several months. No response. Here's the report.
Interestingly, i noticed there was a change in the return policy since i made the order. It now says, "all items with prices ending in .95, .99, & .00 are considered final sale and cannot be returned for store credit". It did not say that before. Even so, i could have been sent another one that worked, or maybe it could have been repaired, or whatever, but instead, nothing but silence, refusal to communicate, and wasted money = Scamion.
To me, these reasons are reasons not to buy anything from this company, "the best gadgets", or any other hosted by shopify.com
