BUYERS BEWARE: This is a Shady Business!

The owner, Sherry, does not respond to messages at all. I have sent several inquires from her website contact platform, from my own email address and countless messages through Facebook via her closed group page "Barefoot Conjure" .facebook.com/groups/barefootconjure/.

I placed 2 orders back in July 2017 and my orders have still not been fulfilled.

Sherry had communicated to the group that she has had hardships here and there and kept giving everyone discount codes to buy more merchandise to help her, however she has been very selective in fulfilling customer products, even though she received the money.

I initially felt sorry for her as she explained in intimate detail about her life struggles (of which she has thus far deleted from social media). She had only once acknowledged my orders on the Facebook group, but has still never fulfilled them.

In addition she has recently closed all comments associated with her orders and has even deleted my public comments requesting an ETA, comments from others as well. Yet she is still posting discount codes as if nothing has happened!!!

It has literally almost been a full year and I have not received my orders!

My mistake was not filing a dispute with PayPal before the time ran out, which is currently 180 days.

I still see people purchasing her products on her website via these pop-ups on the bottom left corner of the site, but am not sure if she is actually sending those out.

WARNING: If you paid via PayPal and it is closing on 180 days and Sherry still hasn't fulfilled your orders, please contact PayPal right away and DISPUTE the charges! She WILL NOT send you your merchandise anyway. I lost out over $80 by trusting her and giving her the benefit of the doubt with her sob stories. If they were true than that definitely is sad for people to have to go through that, HOWEVER, it doesn't mean that you can take advantage of your customers and decide to never fulfill their orders. They didn't give you their hard earned money for free. Sherry should open up a GoFundMe page for her hardships. She should NOT ask people to buy her products but with the intention to never fulfill! Absolutely terrible!

The lady of the Barefoot Witchery Shoope is a Fraud. She says she petitions Orishas and Least on her altars on behalf of clients. She is not initiated into an Orisha worshipping tradition or one that venerates Lwas. To properly give offerings to and petition Lwas, one needs to be initiated into traditions that they are worshipped and worked with in. For example, not everyone has the same solution to the same problem. One person's medicine can be another person's poison. When it comes to Orisha worshipping, one needs to go to a Priest or Preistess of that tradition and have a reading done to figure out what the solution to their problem is and to figure out what the right ebbo (offering/sacrifice) is to fix their problem or to fortify their blessings. One person maybe told they need to offer fruit and another may be told to give meat for example. Just like not everyone can take the same medicine and be healed, not everyone can give the same offering to have the solution they need.

Also, proper divination needs to be done afterwards to make sure that the ebbo was accepted, something only a Priest or Priestess can do. To be able to do the divination and appropriately communicate with the Orishas on their own, one needs to be initiated into the Priesthood and given their Orisha shrines properly. The things that are done in the Igbodu are a secret but, are necessary to be done to bring a person into proper alignment with the Orishas to be able to help them properly communicate and work with them. One cannot just throw some things together that look pretty and call it an altar or shrine to an Orisha.

There are certain things that are required and if someone just throws some things together and just starts praying and calling out to the Orisha, what responds may not be an Orisha but, something not good. She charges $150 to pray to an Orisha on someone's behalf. With her not being initiated, it is a waste of money. You could get your own stuff for a lot less and do what she is doing on your own which I DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WHICH IS NOT OK!!!! In one picture, she shows she has drawn a Ve Ve for a Lease. Ve Ves can only be drawn by an initiate and have to be blessed properly. Ve Ves are like portals and act like calls to a Lwa. Working with the Leave without proper initiation and training is dangerous. Without knowing how to work with those energies, it can lead to serious misfortune and problems not just for you but also for your loved ones.

I have also attached pictures of her saying she does Ellegua Services and Papa Legba services. Notice how she contradicts herself by saying Ellegua and Pap Legba? You see she has the same statue to represent both? Ellegua and Papa Legba are two completely different spirits from two completely different cultures with completely different personalities, wants, and ways of serving them. Her treating them like they are the same thing only goes to show she does not know what she is doing. She also clearly does not know the symbology of the statue and where the symbology came from. You also should go to the Santeros Against Fraud and Exploitation website and read the articles about cultural appropriation. Cultural appropriation is exactly what that lady is doing. Here is the link below. http://santeriachurch.org/category/safe-alerts/ Be smart and do long and thorough research.

Criminal With No Conscience

This woman should be in jail quite frankly. Lost hundreds of dollars. Fell for her lies - and that’s what they are - LIES. No matter what sob story she throws your way, it’s not truthful. It’s just made up and designed in such a way it would go against your conscience to even suggest she reimburses you for services unrendered and products not received.

Thief

Terrible liar with no conscience. Takes people’s hard earned money and spends it with not an ounce of guilt, giving absolutely nothing in return. She’s a criminal.

I paid for a job to be done with Santa Marta the Dominator. I paid for it on July 28, 2017. After that she requested photos. I forward the photos and she waid that it would be a week. It's been almost a year. I have sent her numerous numerous e-mails. And she has ignored them. I have asked her for a refund and nothing yet. She always posting a story that she is a victim of domestic violence or that her husband took her money. It is all a ploy. I need help in pursuing this matter. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM HER. I wish I had read all the negative reviews before I invested.

Same :’)

Lost over £300 in trusting this woman. Terrible to treat people like this, absolutely disgusting. Claims to really care about her clients on her site. The evidence says otherwise. I went later to a lady called Sarah (not sure if I’m allowed to put full details in here, but most will probably know who I mean) who is wonderful and DOES treat her clients with care. Still hurting from my experience with Sherry though

Took £300 From Me & Just Pocketed I

Still hurting very much from the way this woman abused my trust and took my money. Waited almost a year and received nothing but empty words how I would receive report and pictures the next week. Terrible way to treat people. I don’t understand why she’s still allowed to operate

I have been waiting for this woman to fulfill my work for MONTHS. I have not heard any emails from her or a dam response. She comes up with days off and excuses on why she does not get the work done. I would like to explain why my patience has become VERY thin with this woman. At first, she received my order, became very responsive. Then told me it was going to be fulfilled on a specified time frame. WRONG. I have waited about a year now, nothing. No reports and no response. I truly want to give her as much time as she needs, spiritual work is tedious but when the whole world goes on her page to complain and asking for refunds she assures them the reports will be fulfilled. I started to suspect she was a scam when people were asking for orders since JUNE of 2017. We are NOW IN 2018!! Also, she always posts about taking a day off.

exactly what work are you doing? Everyone is brushed off as "I'll get back to you I promise". The sad thing is this woman does not know what time or organization means!

Here are other things that I have seen that have made me see RED FLAGS

-Paypal has refused to give her funds due to past orders (no status or tracking), maybe people have reported her and she has nothing to show for it

- ALWAYS taking days off... this is fine but what work was there done to get a day off? lol

- ALWAYS needing funds... well duh everyone does but she is always having it as an urgent matter. I know she had personal things going on, but where does her money go? Per her website, everyone's ordering stuff from her 20-30 times a day. I do not care where the money goes exactly, but to me, if you want to receive the funds you have to provide a service. Don't you think?

ALL rootwork takes time, but this is ridiculous. Whoever wanted to read this to find out more please think twice. Current customers such as myself are trying really hard to have her cough up something, or at least a refund. Will be keeping updates.

**Proof will be attached**

Scammer

Ordered some oils from her on 24th April 2019. She was very quick to respond before and during my purchase but immediately disappeared and ignored all my emails after receiving my payment. She promised to have my oils delivered in 2 weeks but until today, I have yet to receive my tracking number to track my oils and all my emails regarding my purchase and updates have been ignored. It’s already more than 3 weeks! She’s a scammer! I want a full refund or my products to be shipped to me immediately. I’m going to file a dispute with Paypal.

same thing here

Zero stars for her! I ordered products from this woman. I have already emailed her a few times. Going on a month now and she does not reply and I have no product. She was quick to process my $40 payment but does not have the curtesy to reply. Stay away from her!
