I purchased a Michael Jackson signed framed Thriller album from a friend of mine in February, 2016. He had purchased it from someone who purchased this item from the Art of Music at the Mandalay Bay store in Las Vegas. The original owner bought it for $1895. After I got it, I suspected that it might be fake. I contacted the Art of Music and they assured me it was real. That Jackson himself signed it at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas on 10/25/03. I felt a little bit better but was still skeptical. After a few weeks I asked them if they would buy it back. Two weeks passed and they told me that they just received a large shipment of Michael Jackson signed Memorabilia and they were good for now. I sent pics to PSA, JSA, and Roger Epperson. All three said bogus. I informed Art of Music and they said that none of those three were credible and third party court certified. I asked for a list of their court certified experts and they provided nothing. Furthermore, they asked me what would keep me from switching albums. They also insisted that since I didn't have the original receipt, they could not help me. I have their COA which says 100% lifetime guarantee. They refuse to give me a refund of $1895 or even an exchange for a real Michael Jackson signed Memorabilia item. I have from former employees that almost 90% of their signed Memorabilia is fake. I'm very insulted!!!
Purchased 2 autographs, one of The Doors, and one of The Rolling Stones. Turns out they are forgeries. If you google their authenticator Drew Max, that will answer all your questions. Contacted police dept, lawyer, and they are not budging on a refund, yet. I had Epperson authenticate, it was a big fat no, they are fake. Beware, spent thousands literally. I will get my money back, I will not quit. I want the word out there for others, buyer beware!!!!
