STAY AWAY from this COMPANY BAD NEWS
I contacted this company to fix my refrigerator. The technician showed up and told me a computer board had to be replaced in order to address this problem. I approved the repair with the understanding that the issue would be addressed for the price quoted. After waiting for the technician all day they finally showed up late in the day. The board was replaced but it did not address the problem. After another hour or so of troubleshooting the technician said it may be a switch or maybe the compressor and told me it would cost more money. My reply was very simple “I paid you to diagnose and repair the problem. You as the experienced and trained experts determined that the issue was the board. If something else is wrong that is on you” He called the manager of the company who said he would give me a "discount" to replace the other parts. I refused and told him that this sounded like a bait and switch and they were contracted to fix whatever was wrong after all that is why they are the "experts". The manager then said he would put back the old parts and only charge me a service fee to which I replied a "service fee", what service did you preform? In the end, they did not fix the problem and now I have to dispute a charge. STAY AWAY from this company.
I called this "The air Conditioning and Refrigeration Experts in Miami FL since my regrigirator was not cooling. A man answered the phone and said he could have a repair person out within an hour. m He mentioned that the $75.00 service call fee would be dedcuted when i did the repair. I was at work and told them to call me once they determined what was wrong.
When they got there my father let him in and he took about 15 minutes and then called me to say that it was the Compresor Switch and that he had already replaced it and the price was $395.00. I told him why he had replaced it without checking first with me and he just said the job was done. I then checked with several authorized dealers to find out that the price for the part is $47.35 and on the invoice he didnt give a breakdown but did include the $395.00 was for Replace of ACS, part + tax + labor + service call. Total Con Artists!!!
