Setup a bogus Service Call on a toilet. They claimed I let them in and they fixed a broken toilet. Charged me $75. They never came out to my rental. I wasn’t even in town the day of the event. I fought it. The still charged it to my rent. Their word against mine...
I moved out on June 15th. It cost my $1100 to complete all of the service requirements. They wanted me to Paint walls (*they don’t give you the paint). The walls were in great shape. There was a beet stain in the pantry and a foot scuff mark on the mud room. They charge over $100 per stain. Inspection fee $75. Re inspected $75 plus cost for going back. They wanted batteries for smoke detectors. They wanted lines in the carpet, they wanted the carpet professionally shampooed. They wanted a pet treatment on the carpet. They wanted the house perfect. It was... they still ripped me off for over $800. Held my money for 45days. Then had it delivered to my door on the last possible day by courier.
I have since sent them 2 emails requesting my money be returned...no answer. They didn’t even bother to reply. Totally ripoff and incompetentence: I was getting calls and text messages from a 3rd Party company on rekeying the place two months later.
By the way you can not be a part of the inspection. They do it alone. Weeks after you leave. They got me...don’t let them get you. Rent elsewhere...
