Jamie Demericus from the Texas Certification Agency, INC became extremely beligerant and abusive over email communication and even used bullying tactics when I attempted to ask questions about the certification service his company was offering.

I called the number on the Texas Certification Agency, Inc. website (which went directly to voicemail) I followed the instructions and left a message for them to call me back. This never happened. However, I did receive an email with detailed information.

The drama began when I responded to the email and asked a few questions about their services even thanking them for the documents. What happened next was unbelievable. I received an email which stated and I quote:

"We're not going to play games with you...If you wanted to sign-up for a Consultation, you should have signed-up for a Consultation...You are not going to...attempt to play ignorant with a sneak attack in search of Consultation as a tactic to play between the two services. Go somewhere and play games: We do not play games here...we are quick to take legal actions against companies that do not adhere to their contractual commitment.

This is not going to be a relationship of email communique..."

My first thought was that this had to be a joke! First of all, no where on their website does it advertise signing up for a consultation. And while their voicemail message states that they will call you back, I have yet to receive a phone call from them to this day.

I was shocked and baffled by the abusive and threatening tone in Mr. Demericus' email and instantly suspected a fraud. I emailed the Secretary of State and filed an official complaint citing abuisive and bullying business tactics. Meanwhile, I contacted the Minority Business Development Agency US Department of Commerce and they whole-heartedly confirmed my suspicions of fraud of the company owned by Mr. Demericus.

Jamie Demericias is a thief!

What does the Texas Secretary of State allow this thief to operate on a state-sponsored site? I have counted dozens of women and minority businesses owners who have been scammed by this idiot.

I contacted the Texas Cerfication Directory, Jamie Deméricas, to get Woman owned business status to get a Tax # for customers. The Texas Comptroller was referenced on the paperwork, and filled out all the required info, copy of ID, EIN # address, and paid $395. Once I called the Comptroller's office to verifty the status, I figured out it was a scam. My credit card comany reversed the charges, which lead ot a huge amount of retailation and harrassment from them. When I emailed that I was filing with the FTC and Better Busines Bureau, he threated me directly with suing and indirectly with violence, hence if any harm comes to me, I have documented everywhere possible, it will be from thugs at the Texas Certification Directory. I had to file a Protective Order from the local police, and have hence officially started my paper trail there. A few days ago, 4 fraudulent charges appeared on the same card, and I had it cancelled the same day Jamie Demericas charged the card a "charge back" for the $395, then said he was suing me for triple the amount. Now, I have to check my credit every month to make sure he hasn't applied for a line of credit since he has all of my information. I am filing against the group everywhere that I can, and I hope that anyone who has been scammed by this group will also file official complaints.

Why Are You Anonymous

Why are you anonymous if these claims are true?

Any coward, such as yourself, can make claims while hiding in the basement behind a computer screen gripping a bottle of alcohol for courage.

We recommend that you stop attempting to disparage a very well respected organization in Texas society if you don't want to get sued for slander / libel. Then again, that's why you are anonymous because your claims have no validity and you lack honour.

Sincerely,

Jamie Demericas

Chairman

SCAM / Rip off Artist!

They don't even disserve One STAR!

I have attached an email that I received after seeking services from Texas Certification Directory (Jamie Demericus) and hope his scare tactics don't scare others to speak out as well. People like this are taking advantage of people that are trying to make an honest living and it's sad that there is a company utilizing our STATES Name (TEXAS) for all that it and we the people stand for of this Great State and to be taken advantage of by someone b/c you just don't know what you don't know is wrong.

We received a notification from BBB about your "complaint."

You are at a crossroads on where this relationship goes: Negate the commentary and leave us in the rear-view mirror or become a defendant in a libel lawsuit which is little work for us to accomplish.

1. On August 23, 2016, you submitted an online application for participation in the Texas Certification Directory™. All Sales Final.

2. On or about this date you requested a refund.

3. On August 25, 2016, Texas Certification Directory™ refunded the application fee.

4. On August 25, 2016, anticipating your stupidity we notified you about making slanderous and libelous commentaries. You read said email 5 times as of September 2, 2016.

5. On or about September 7, 2016, Texas Certification Directory™ received notification of libelous commentaries being made in the public forumn of the BBB.

This shows willful intent to cause injury to Texas Certification Directory™.

As stated earlier, you can decide on where we go: Our separate ways or to court for libel.

Thanks,

Jamie Demericas

Chairman

Sincerely Yours,

Texas Certification Directory™

If I would have did a little research before going on to texassba.us. I would have ran so fast, it wouldn’t have been funny. Jamie the owner is a disgrace and he feels good that his company is nothing but a joke. Its funny because the $1.00 for the certification that is printed it you can buy yourself. He can certify you. Certify you with what? BullS#$#! Your certification paper has NO REAL MEANING! NONE! The only thing that Jamie can certify is the BS that comes out of his mouth and emails. He is RUDE and desperate for money. I had a death in the family and I emailed him asking if I could cancel but I will come back because my family member passed with no life insurance. Jamie told me his life goes on and there are no refunds. Jamie, I didn’t realize that you were that broke. You are worthless human and trust me, you will reap what you sow. Do not reply to this message because anything that comes out your mouth is worthless. Anyone that is trying to start a business RUN from this company. Just go to sba.com/texas/licenses-permits/ !!!

My Attorney and i Had met up and we discussed the fact we needed to register with the SBA. We were looking to advance my wife's small-business. So in doing so we thought I we were at the SBA office Website and we were looking into this place called the Texas SBA because when we called the SBA office i belive in or near Ft. Worth, they had mentioned a Texas Office. SO there was socme confusion at first.

When we were looking into the Texas SBA or what we thought was the Texas Office for the SBA. It was about midnight or some type of very late and i was trying to read the tiny little scroll bar of terms but i was not able to due to a vision injuryand every time we would try to scroll down it would scrol back up so we thinking this was teh Governemtn decided, ok, we trust the stae of Texas and we went through the site because it looked official.

When the reciept showed up we noticed a trademark symbol on the name of ht eocmpany and we realized we had not dealt with the government at all and we immediatly searched the companies name up.

We found multiple rip off reposrt and harrassment and it left us very scared we had just dealt with a wanna be online gangster so we called our attorney's office and we discussed how to handle this issue.

First we canceled our current cards for my wife's business account and had them re-issued. Then we filed a recovery or reversal of the funds from the bank in addition to filing a complaint witht he state. See we knew this was bad when other reports talked about being threatened with violance because no business does this. If you are a business then you run a business and you do not harm people or threaten it.

SO now today we recieved an email from this place stating we are going to be sued and will pay triple the amount and how we have no option but to surrender x amount of money to them because we emialed thema sking for a refund and stating we had mixed up this company with the actual SBA so would they please be considerate to the fact we only paid the payment 15 monuites ago and it is in the middle of the night so we have made sure to notify them before any chance of paperwork or effort has been filed or applied in our direction?

Now being i have dealt with three companies and have an attorney in Californian and Texas and NY. I have some experience with legal issues. And yes when you sing a contract in good faith you are entering an greeement to work together and pay for time, expenses, etc. But when a company, any company i have owned or doen business with. SHould there be a simple mix up or a an issue we first address hwo we have either failed or how can we better address their needs to make the experience satisfactory because we are here to serve the client and meet their needs to get paid but this behavior. Having them threaten us and state hwo they are wuick to file action agaist people who break this contract?

NO all you have done is show how little you are and how your ownly goal is the finances, the money and not the needs of our business or any of your clients because every blog. report or issue has been you threatening someone over money never over you performing any services - this leaves me to belive you have never done anything legitamite for your customers because they all want their money back once they realize you have decieved them. Why not take advantage of the American Dream and goto work and do something to help someone like my wofe's charity we are trying to grow so she can help more single struggling moms with Kids? I mean all youdidi was threaten us and not once listen to what we said.

If this scam artist does take me to court i will take him to the cleaners. My time is far more valuable and i know enough Judges to know if you present your case we will beout of court very soon and you will be buying our lunch. There is no time for games, bull crap or harassment. If this is buisness for you then this explains your track record and dont think ppl cant google you Jamie Demericus, all those publications talking about you are made by you and your office. You dont have any real crediable work record of anything accomplished but you got another rip off report. So good job at something today.

Being Threatened to be sent to Collections

I have had the same experience as those listed above. My question is - what can we do about it? I was fooled once and paid the $395 for a Woman Owned Business certification, and when I presented it to a potential client he told me it was worthless and I needed to get accredited through the NCTRCA, which I am seeking now. I am being bullied by this man and I do not want to pay him another $395 for nothing because I didn't read the small print, but I also do not want to be sent to collections. What can be done to get out from under this scam artist? Has he ever followed up on his threats to take people to court?

I’ve been scammed too

Jamie Demericas stole from me as well. When I asked for a refund he emailed me:

“You know nothing about business and are not designed to be a business owner which is why you seek pity based upon your vagina and not the competitiveness of your company's goods or services. (May I suggest you become a Welfare Queen where your vagina will produce income per newborn delivered. This will satisfy your desire for attention and income.)

Just another Affirmative Action participant who cries aloud when they don't receive guaranteed success based upon their chosen victimhood status.

Take Care.

Jamie Demericas
