TESST College Of Technology Reviews

During my time at this school, we had about 4 different teachers, none of which knew exactly how to teach, I voiced my concern, nothing happened. They through me on an externship without any knowledge of what I was suppose to be doing m.. I disputed the fees with them because I refuse to pay for a school where I didn't learn anything and they said although the school was close, I attended. Now I'm swapped in loans because I let this school scam me, we did not learn a thing about medical assistanting, I thought this loan was off my report until I looked at it

I first saw this college online and I didn't know anything about it, but I wanted to get an education past High School so I signed up. The employees of the college were very gun-h*o about getting me to enroll and very enchanting about how my future would be. There was something the recruiter said to me that still sticks with me to this day he said: "You're not a procrastinator are you?". Of course after hearing that I couldn't back down he provoked me even though I wasn't sure about the college or what exactly I was getting myself into.

I realized after I had graduated from this "School" that I was manipulated. I didn't feel like I learned anything or even got a real education. Everything that we learned in the "school" was literally off the books that they made us purchase. There was nothing unique, inspiring or anything that could even have you ready for the workplace. I did the best I could and hoped that it would get better, but it never did; infact it got a lot worse. The last six months of schooling felt rushed, the school was empty most of the time and there were only four students left of the dozen or so we started out with.

I was never able to get a real job after being in this school; they didn't help me secure one either. They didn't work with me to make sure I was set and that I found employment; heck they didn't even give me a call, I had to call them out of desperation. I graduated and no one wanted me. My 'degree' didn't matter to most employers and when it came to further my education, there was no way to do so; not at the time anyway, and when it was it was online classes about a year later. The damage was already done by then. In order to continue my education I would have to start all over, but I couldn't because of the massive sum I owed to the school.

In conclusion since the third month of me joining this school I realized that it was all "self-taught" we put our nose into books that we bought and went to school day to day. There was nothing unique about it, but I thought that's what College was. I had no idea what I had gotten myself into until after I graduated and learned about the things my friends were doing and learning and the programs their colleges put them through. One of the directors of the college even admitted that the course we were put through was a "work in progress" and that we were "the first to be in this program" I always felt like a guinea pig in that school and I payed for it. I just wish I could have turned back time and went to a normal college. My life would be different... I wouldn't be unemployed and unable to find work. I wouldn't owe so much money to something not worth the cost.

I hope that filling this out somehow helps me because I need it. I was royally screwed by "TESST College of Technology" or whatever they like to call themselves now.
