TERRY W LACOSTE NEW IMAGE ROOFING/CONTRACTING Reviews
May 1, 2017
My dad was ripped off by a contractor! We now have to remove the defective roof from his house and we can't even reuse the materials. The decking was ruined, not properly secured to the house, and the roof is crooked and not secured to the decking. His house is wrapped in plastic (water barrier that goes under vinyl siding) and will have to be replaced because it's only rated for 120 days. It was an 8 week contract and we are in week 23 way over the 120 days. My dad fell off his front porch because the hand rail for his front steps is not secured and the banister was not put on. He injured his elbow and has had to have it drained to relieve the swelling. The contractor did not even order or pay for the siding, soffit, or gutters. Although, he stated he paid a deposit. Prior to the roof being put on incorrectly, the guys did not put the water and ice barrier on correctly which resulted in water damage to every room in his house from a bad rain.
Insulation from attic had to be removed and we are possibly dealing with a mold situation. None of the damages from the contractors negligence has been repaired. In fact, the roof has leaked again with the recent rains. The contractor will not return any of our calls, emails, or texts. My dad lost $32,000, and he's had 2 TIA's (mini strokes) in the midst of all the stress
