The company refuses to honor the warranty for their product.
Purchased Tend Insights Lynx Indoor 2 - Indoor WiFi Security Camera with Easy Bluetooth Setup, Two Way Audio, Night Vision, and Included Cloud Storage, White (TS0023). After following the troubleshooting steps I was asked to complete by the company, the company refused to honor the warranty and issue an RMA for a return of the hardware so that it could be exchanged for a working camera. The wireless hardware within the camera is not functional and the camera arrived in that condition.
Purchase made October 2018. Installed camera February 2019. Upon installation, only one of two cameras was functional. Received a phone call to repeat all the previously completed steps outlined in email or the company would refuse to honor warranty if all steps were not completed a second time. These steps do not address hardware failure. Although I completed them previously, and the warranty DOES NOT say you must complete the steps TWICE in order for a warranty to be honored, that was the policy that was made up during the phone call until I just became irate with the refusal to honor the warranty and be able to exchange the product.
It became obvious that the business practice is to not honor warranties but rather just run customers through drills that have nothing to do with the problem over and over until the customer just gives up in trying to get the warranty honored.
