The unfortunate part of my journey with this company began in September 2013 when, two days before my company was officially opening, they completely walked away from me and my contract without cause, without explanation and without communication.
I sued them in MN to get my investment back because they refused to even communicate with me whatsoever. After filing suit, they fought me at every possible turn, refusing to acknowledge what they had done and without offering to take any responsibility and make any restitution at all.
After more than two years my case went to trial. I won. Instead of simply returning my $18,000 investment they lost a judgment of nearly $90,000.00. That is in addition to what they paid their attorney to argue thier case.
In the written judgment, the MN District Judge (it was a bench trial; no jury) found:
The President & CEO David Dourgarin was not credible under oath
The COO Mari Kautzman was not credible under oath
The Executive VP Casey Kraus was not credible under oat
After making my judgment public, I was unprepared for the amount of companies and individuals who contacted me who had suffered at the hands of this fundamentally dishonest company. Dozens upon dozens relayed what had happened to them at the hands of TempWorks. It was as unbelievalbe as it was disgusting.
I began to research this company. Sadly, everything that I heard was confirmed. This is a company who cannot stay away from litigation. They have either sued, or been sued, by dozens of clients.
