Tempoe SCAM SCAM....BEWARE OF TEMPLE. I lease a camera with them last year, according to my leasing agreement, the item should've been paid of by now. I notice a charge on my account and called them, spoke to someone in Hondorus yt? they claim they're in NH. The guy told me I've paid the amount stated on my lease and then some but in order to own the item I will need to pay additional $700. Which means that I will be paying 3X more than what's stated on the leasing agreement. Biggest scam. If anyone one wants to join together to file a class action suit for fraud/illegal charge...please let me know.
There is no way for a responsible person to protect theirselves when companies like Tempoe exist. With identity thief being the number one issue this country faces, tempoe actual supports those criminals by not running a credit report to see if their credit might be frozen. This is totally unethical and liable. Please join me in trying to shut this company down.
Kmarts partner WhyNotLeaseIt, which is really Tempoe Leasing has wasted over 10 hrs and 3 days of my valuable time. I received a approval code for $1,210 of bogus credit, I’ve been to the store attempting to actually use the credit 3 separate days and today I decided to take to the web only because I don’t want others to be let down or taken advantage of by this company. Upon attempting to check out everything is accurate on my end, the bank details, photo Id, etc but the store continues to tell me the system won’t complete the purchase, they have had every excuse, first they said maybe my card, then maybe their system, then this and that but overall I have tried multiple cards and even a different Kmart but still have been unable to use my so called credit! Then after thinking about it, why would Kmart actually give credit when they can’t get credit from supplies!
It’s a scam and whynotleaseit also changed their name to tempoe because the thousands of bad reviews they have.
Kmart and Sears is going out of business because of their horrible decisions and even worse partners. If you would like to save yourself the hassle and let down, stay away from whynotleaseit, tempoe, Kmart and Sears! I was your biggest supporter Kmart but after what my family has experienced with your company I wish your company a quicker ending! Thank you
I asked them several times to come pick it up but they never did.I even offered to take it back to kmart and drop it off which they said I could not do..I actually had to cancel two credit cards because they kept taking money after I told them to come get the pool.they did tell me that I had paid the minimum required payments and could return the item.here we are over a year later, the pool is laying in my back yard still and today security credit systems sent a report to the credit bureau for $384 for a pool that didnt cost that to start with and that after 5 payments I had paid that much anyway.

They approve a credit of $750.00, and told me that when the balance was covered by me the merchandise or furniture was mine. Payments have been made by me since 11/11/2016 until now on a monthly basis for $135.00, and now they say that if I want the furniture to stay in my home another $307.50 or 375.59 would have to be PAID by me now. So, every time they"re called up by me a different amount pops up too. I want to claim ALL the information said here to be invetigaed by them who can end the RIP OFF going on with so many and don't know it even. They made excuses that my account was past due: pyment didn"t arrive; check pay for $100.00 went lost; and want me to do EXTRA payment for whatever thet want to keep the furniture also. One thing was said by them to me, and pop up with another nw that I finish paying too. Accordig to a RICHARD tha my niece spoke to in FEB 2017, said that my next ayment of $135.00 was the end; close out; finish of my tempoe account. I want to investigate who do I believe right now since every time they're call a show of different story's come up, and I refuse, deny, object to continue being or getting RIPPED OFF by tempoe any more. I want to hear from you ASAP about what should be done by me to end this matter, and what actions will be done by you to put a STOP on them from doing this to people without the awareness of what's really done by them: WHO SAY 1 THING, AND GO AROUND DOING ANOTHER INSTEAD or THEN.
Please,please,please do not use Tempoe is purchase eye glasses from Cohne Opitcal. They are the biggest rip off ever. We had our eyes exams and we both needed glasses. The women who was taking care of us suggested we use Tempoe to purchase the glasses. I would have to pay 2 payments of $54 dollars a month. The total of both glasses came out to $600. I agreeed and the payments came out right away. I figured I would be finished within 6 months. I went on Tempoes website and they had me making payments into 2018! When I called the man on the phone said I would have to pay $328 to close out my lease. So I would have to pay over a $1000 for 2 pairs of eyes glasses. Please,please,please do not use these low lifes who prey upon people . They are horrible scum sucking monsters!!!!
Got a letter from Convergent Outsourcing to collect on an account that I did not know even existed. Apparently a company called Tempoe LLC opened an account in my name sometime last year without doing a credit check or gettihng any photo I.D.
I sent a packet of information regarding an identity theft I experienced in May of 2017 that included letters from both Home Depot and Kohls fraud departments that they investigated disputed accounts with thier companies and determined that they were fraudulent. Also included were confirmations from the three credit bureaus that my reports already had fraud alerts listed on them that I activated when the original problems happened.
My credit reports all show a rating of excellent with an absolutley perfect history. Tempoe LLC will not even give me any information about the bogus account because they say it is in the hands of the collection agency. Convergent now says it forwarded my information packet to Tempoe and that Tempo says the account is still valid.
I was supposedly financing 4 speakers and a radio and what I was told at Mickey Shorr is that once I pay the system off I would own it. Well 4 months down the line I miss a payment and they add a late fee so I call to get the late fee waived and they tell me they'll waive it. Well a little more talking with them and they tell me I am in a 18 month lease for 95$ a month. Now this totally surprised me because of what they told me at the store and the Tempoe agent even said that they have had people complaining about the same thing and there is nothing they can do about it. They proceed to tell me that I would have to pay 95$ two more times and then buy out the lease for 290$. Now I have already made 4 payments of 95$ and the equipment is only 500$. So basically I'm paying 7-800 dollars for 500$ equipment. this company is a total scam and they are now taking money from my bank account whenever I put an amount in. I know this can't be legal especially with the circumstances. All I need to know is do I have enough information to sue them because I will not be paying them anymore and I most likely will have to switch my bank. Please help or chime in if the same thing happened to you.
Worst company i've ever heard of. Wrongulyy charged my $2k for an account that i never opened and fucked my credit all up. I would not recommend this company to my biggest enemy or anyone ever. Avoid this company at all cost if you can. Complete waste of time
On my first payment due date I received an email from Tempoe stating my payment was rejected for non sufficient funds and they added a $20 return fee. I called and they tried to take the payment from a credit card that I never have them. I have NO IDEA how they got it. Definitely something shady going on.
I asked the guy on the phone to please remove this credit card from my account and to please charge the card I gave them. Almost a month later and that credit card is still linked to my account. If I get another NSF notice and fee I'm gonna flip the f@*# out! Incompetent, rude customer service staff that has no idea what they're doing! Stay away from this company at all costs!
They will not come pick up the product . But yet they put me in collection on my credit report. In the amount of 1500 dollars only had credit of 700 and I had paid almost 600 on the stuff.
I had my transmission repaired and was suprised by a bill for work that wasn't covered by my warranty. I tried to get payment options, but failed the company credit check. I offered to pay with my fiance's credit card, but the manager said" let me try something else."
He went to a website called Loan Hero and entered my information. The site had multiple inconsistancies and I told the manager multiple times that it was much easier to pay with a credit card. He says, " we're almost done, just a couple more minutes ". We eventually got to screen that looked plain and simple. 8 payments and done. I signed the work and brought my jeep home.
I recieved an email that my agreement was handled at Tempoe.com. I paid my 8 payments and thought myself done with it. I recently discoverd that Tempoe was still processing payments out of my account. When I contacted them, they said I hadn't taken a loan. I had a lease agreement. Huh? How do you lease mechanical services?
I was told that I could terminate the lease for just over $200 or return the property that was leased. How do you return mechanical servies? Is there someone at Tempoe that needs a flywheel and linkage cable replaced? I really feel bamboozled here. What is the end game here? Am I going to be leasing my own transmission until I die?
I really hope someone can help me here. I've filed complaints with Tempoe, The transmission company ( a national chain ), the local media, and now here.
