In the year 2004 we decided to purchase this Mercury Mountaineer @Temple Lincoln in Temple, texas. The SUV only had 11k original miles during purchase and MR. Jerry Miller told me "everything is covered under manufacturer warranty , transmission will be serviced by us before 60k , along with oil changes ". So we purchased (Mrs. Doris Easter/Wife") the suv for a proposed price of 18,000.00 AWD Mountaineer . Over the years the company hasnt even sent me nothing on liftgate recall 06 , tailgate recall defects 2006 . I spent my own $$$$$ to fix that but every brake or oil change I recieved a notice from the Temple lincoln mercury dealer @Jerry Miller. The service department keeps telling me "we wont change transmission until a hundered thousand miles Mr. Easter ".
I may not be ASE certified but a dummy know that is a lie. These people think im stupid for being a 71 year old black man or just cant read . Anyway I continued to make the regular schedule maintance and each time last one in October 2015 . We took truck in and I question the service manager about the transmission service is at 100k now . THe service man (caucasion ) told me "It will be 299 for the service sir". So immediately I ask for Mr. Jerry Miller and he never came out to talk. Up until today august 8th , 2016 no call from him or dealership.
Than in the month of May I took truck to Sears in Killeen , tx and the sears service man said "the dealership was suppose to service at 60k not a 100k". After filing lemon law exhausted so now I got letter from CEO of FORD saying "Im sorry" Mark Fields. I need counsel in this matter ASAP cause the truck is not running good now because...... We had consulted Temple Police friend also. Faxing dealer complaint letter today.
I never was late on payment for one month during the finance part of contract. No repos either.
