Predatory Scam Artist

TeleCircuit fraudulently changed my phone service from AT&T to their company. The phone belongs to my mother (deceased) and they contacted my brother (disabled) and told him they could give him a special rate on a subsidized land line. The phone is listed under my mothers account and I am the executor of the estate. They not only changed the provider, they put a lock on the number so it could not be released back to AT&T. My brother who they spoke to had no control or authority and somehow, these frauds were able to use his permission to change the service to them and to cancel the AT&T account (Almost 60 year account with Bell/AT&T). They used deceptive practices to convince a vulnerable adult to authorize changes to an account for which he had no control or authorization. They failed to contact the real customer.

Dallas TeleCircuit kept calling me on several occasions. I was never inside to take the call. The calls were from a Robert Miller (their agent) Finally on October 6 my wife who is sick and is now in the hospital said OK. Her name was not on the account. I called back and told them not to change it, but they said that they already changed it and that if I wanted it back with AT&T that I had to call them. I called them and told them to change it back, but I had to call back several times to get it changed. It is changed now.

I received a bill from them soon after for $46.71. This bill stated that the Billing period ended 10/6/2017.

This was strange as that was the day my service was changed.

I did not pay this bill. (I told them when I called back that I was not going to pay them anything)

Recently, about 10/27) I received another bill for $94.42. This said the billing period ended 10/20/2017.

I MIght accept an arbitration amount. But I really don't want to pay them anthing because of all the trouble they put me through.

If I just don't pay them anything, what kind of problem can they cause me?

They are a joke

They cut my 80 year old Mama's phone off and account was paid and she is a heart patient. So I had phone cut back on thru att and telecurcuit goes and cuts it off again. So I went and had it cut back on without this 3rd party junk. But since I've done it they keep calling her and harassing her. They act like it's a joke when there messing with the elderly. And it's the same guy that keeps calling her. They are a bad company to get involved with

Scam

They contacted my elderly mother a few months ago. Didn’t know of the problem till I tried to call her one day and got a recording that said her number was disconnected. Called AT&T to reconnect and was told it would be 2 weeks for them to reconnect. Praying that we will have no problem getting reconnected to AT&T. This company needs to be shut down. How they are able to disconnect someone’s phone without consent needs to be investigated.

This is not a straight forward business. I have been unhappy with them since I started out with no Long Distance service for the first two months. I have sent a letter to their requested address to have my service terminated. I was told that I would need to Email their customer service department with that request. That Email address is no longer in service. 02/19/18.......

Big Rip off company. They send u bills twice and three times what it should be. You call the only number 8777353247 listed and the people u speak with don't have a clue and they each give u totally different answers. I ask to speak with a manager and always told she will call me back. Still waiting on rhar. I called the phone number in Duluth today and the phone is disconnected. They have been saying my bills will be corrected but they are not. Tried of dealing with them because they continue to lie about everything.

Tele Circuit contacted my elderly parents and offered them a telephone service that would save them money. They were told at that time their cost would never increase. Just 10 ten days after agreeing to change companies, my parents started receiving threatening calls about paying billls on time. They have never received a bill. The caller wanted them to pay immediately by phone to keep from having their line frozen. If they couldn't, they were told they could avoid being cut off by providing their checking account number. They did not agree to that. They were told that if they chose to go back to AT&T, they would have to pay a substantial penalty. They would also have to pay to have their line unfrozen.

This company is guilty of praying on elderly consumers. My 91 year old mother's phone service was switched from her current carrier to telecircuit and my mom was unaware of what had actually taken place until she could no longer call her children via long distance. She then reached out to her phone service provider and was informed by her previous company that she was no longer with them. To her surprise she asked how was that possible as she never agreed to change her service. A representative from her previous service reached out to me with the telecircuit number and I contacted them explaining that my mother was unaware of the change and that she was under the impression that any services changes were being made via her current company. The TC rep stated to me he had my mother on a recorded line, but was not willing to allow me to hear the recording and kept referencing that my mom had given authorization. After, several minutes of back and forth I asked that he remove the freeze he placed on my mother's phone line so that her service could be returned to her previous carrier and it was stated by Joe that he would remove the freeze and that I needed to pay $55.39 of a past due amount. I explained that wasn't the issue and that the issue was I needed him to release the line. He stated OK...The very next day on the 28th her line was disconnected. The previous service provider contacted me with a 6 digit code consisting of letters and numbers and stated this code needed to be removed inorder to restore my mom's service with her previous carrier.

Fast Foward to July 3rd 2017 I phoned 1-877-835-3247 and spoke with the next rep informing her of my previous conversation and after verifying my mother's information she stated that her line was disconnected and that the code could not be removed unlessshe paid the $55.39 (Unbelievable). So you are going force me to pay you $55.39 for a service I never authorized you to change, hold my phone line hostage by placing a freeze preventing another company from providing me service, and on top of that tell me that it was my 91 year old mother's fault that she misunderstood that she was being taken advantage of??? I stated i have researched your company as far back and 2008 for the same fraudulent act, and I am currently calling the FCC. I said what you are doing is against the law. Here are other complaints with the BBB on telecircuit along with their accountant information and smoke screen PO Boxes...

TeleCircuit should be shut down and brought to justice. They hack your att bill and claim to have verbal confirmation from you, which of course they never provide. This company is a complete scam and seem to target the elderly. Please be aware and for no reason at all should you pay them anything.

Negative

TeleCircuit is a scam. They have twice tried to bill my 80 year old mother for long distance charges which she does not use or want. Interestingly, they know one phone number she tried to call. I believe they have inside information from AT&T. I called them and spoke to Yelvin (who spoke Spanish to me). Yelvin has an Argentinian accent. He claims to be located in Duluth, GA--would not give last name or company address. I did some research online. RTC Associates (CEO is Kenny P******) prepares TeleCircuit's taxes and FCC filings. 3075 Breckinridge Blvd, Ste 425; Duluth, GA 30096, (678) 436-5590. I spoke to Christina who confirmed they help/enable TeleCircuit, but denied knowing about scams. Christina laughed merrily when I suggested TeleCircuit is scamming the elderly. Note TeleCircuit's bills have no physical addresses, only PO Box 29206, San Antonio, TX. They also use a PO Box 958283, Duluth, GA. Duluth is where they currently have their accountants.

Tele Circuit Network Corp are complete scamers. This is a boiler room of people targeting the elderly. They call talk so fast and ask if this is ( then they say the persons name) when the person responds with yes, they say the people agree to the long distance carrier.. They called my in laws 87 + 88. My mother in law can't understand to much any more and they both have significant hearing loss. They did not even know who was calling and for what. Then the bil came in with the AT+T bill. I called they would not remove the charge. The only reason they have this land line if for the life alert button they have to have. Somehow the scamers know who has the life alert and are elderly people. Their customer service number is not on the bill (of course). There are othe number but not customer service or customer relations. Stay clear of the company. They are not on the up and up.
