I bought one of Teechip's cups that are a solid color, then when you put any hot liquid into the cup the color is supposed to vanish leaving a message behind for the person. They offered the cup in several colors with several messages.
I ordered one in red for my wife for her birthday. When it arrived I gave it to her for her birthday and to my embarrassment, it didn't work. We added hot water to it. left it sit for an hour and still the color didn't vanish.
I contacted the company and told them if their product doesn't work or there's a problem with the red, then either send me another color or give me a refund. They said that they were sending me another cup.....same color. So I believed that I must have received one of a bad batch.
We received the new one and tested it....no different from the first one, it didn't work.
TeeChip doesn't show a phone number, which should be a red flag for anyone that wants to do business with this company. I contacted the company via email and all I get is that they'll send a replacement. No acknowledgement that their products are defective or that they can ship another color.
Beware doing ANY business with this company. They obviously don't stand behind their products.
Requested a refund but refused saying they had a no refund policy. I had to buy another birthday gift because the order was 2 weeks late and really poor quality.
There is a company advertising of FB called Teechip. I would not recommend ordering from them. I waited 6 weeks for two shirts and when they finally arrived today they were not what I even ordered. I ordered 2 black shirts that were supposed to be both black and say "Queens are born in June" what I got after waiting six weeks was one white shirt that said "Queens are born in May! and one black shirt that said "Queens are born in June" There is no way to contact this company, all the numbers go to a recorded message. The site says you can leave an email but good luck getting a response. There are 1897 complaints about this business and of course because they are ripping of the average consumer not a big name dealer there is no interest in holding them accountable by the consumer protection agencies who seem to be nothing more than names without purpose. I am getting away from any online shopping! at least with brick and mortar you can walk in and get a response at the very least.
I responded to a facebook ad for a print of "Starry Nights". My credit card was immediately charged and eventually I received the print. It was blurry and unrecogizeable as "Starry Nights". Teechip.com demanded that I somehow take a picture of the blurry print to prove my claim. I just want my money back and a label to return the crappy print to them. Teechip's customer service was totally lacking. Very unprofessional. Now I am left with an art print that is worthy of the trash.
In November of 2016 I sent $47.98 through PayPal to TeeChip for a 2X Umass hoodie. It was too small so I returned it for a 3X hoodie. It never came. Now they claim that they don't do exchanges so I guess I'm out the $47.98. However, that is why I am filing complaints against TeeChip because they are an unscrupulous company. The host of complaints against them shouild be enough to back up that statement.
I ordered a Christmas t-shirt from this company on November 26, 2016. After placing the order my estimated delivery was December 6. I received notification only after placing the order, and the money being removed from my PayPal account that it may take longer to ship. Today is December 22, 2016, and I still have not received my order. I sent an email to the company, and tried to speak to someone on the phone; only to be left on hold for 42 minutes. This is a scam!
I ordered a shirt from an Sponsored Ad I saw on Facebook and paid through PayPal. The money was transferred to TeeChip.com. A few days later I see a full refund transfer back to my PayPal account. No big deal, except I did not cancel or ask for a refund.
So, I call Teechip and wait on the phone 24 minutes for a Customer Service Rep to come on the line. His name was David. I told him the scenario and stated I only had PayPal information and he wasn't able to find my order using my name and/or the zip code the delivery was to go to.
I continue to look through emails to see if I found a confirmation email from TeeChip when I originally ordered and I wasn't able to find it.
I asked him to bare with me as I continue to look through my emails. He rudefully rushed me off as I was searching my inbox. I said that I waited 24 minutes for you, so you can wait 2 minutes for me.
I placed an order with TEECHIP on August 28, 2015, My payment was processed through paypal, the funds were debited from my checking account seconds after the order was placed. The shirt was 24.99 and shipping was 3.99 for a total of $28.98. I ordered the Nintendo the I Miss the Simpler Days TeeShirt in the color black, size 3XL. This item was a gift for a friend. I noticed the seller did not offer insurance which I was kinda upset about but I had faith that there would not be a issue with my order. About a week had passed and I had not received any information about my order. I tried to contact the seller concering the order I called during normal business hours the phone rang and rang but no one answered. I continued to call several times on different days and I still was not able to reach anyone. On September 8th, 2015 I received an email that stated there was delay with my order. I have inserted a copy of the email below
