Decades Recruiting

I must concurred with every detail on Decades. Do not sign or give them your credit card. They are using google phones and they are total scam! Fortune 500 companies don't paid recruiters since they have they have organically internally the capability. I was approached recently, and asked them for reference they told me after you paid the "refundable" $250 we could talk about our past performances. Walk away and save your time and energy!!!

Save your money

Do not fall victim to their smooth sales pitch will will lead to nothing. They are quick in taking your money and than they get very nasty with their failed mass email marketing campaign to anyone with a name at any company. They claim they have an in with the hidden ob market. The only think hidden is the mystery behind these money sucking people who prey on the unemployed. I was always careful and i fell for their scam and lost thousands of dollars.

In the details below, when the "company” name decades is used, the company operated under three different company names: "eliteidea” from november 1, 2016 through april 19, 2017; "executive agents” from march 27, 2017 through july 21, 2017 and "decades” from june 1, 2017 to present. The company name was changed each time the complaints posted online by clients and prospects about the company and its sales staff were significantly impeding sales. The company’s ceo, executives, sales staff, bookers, administrative personnel, mentors and marketing staff remained the same for all three companies, however, the employees changed their names to fictitious names. New company websites were created for each of the company name changes. All of the employees email addresses were changed to correspond with the new company’s name.

For example, from [email protected] to [email protected] to most recent email address with the company, [email protected]. The companies’ phone numbers, also, changed. The fictitious names used by howard nestler, the ceo of all three of these companies, from november 1, 2016 to present, were dan allen and ron norman. The ceo never uses his legal name with the clients. His name changed with the change of the company’s name. The sales staff, also, changed their names. Jill reese Fictitious name), the top salesperson for acquire, changed her name to diane cullen when the company name changed to decades. Mark maclin Fictitious name), the 2nd highest producing salesperson for acquire, changed his name to martin myers. Client complaints are simply ignored by the ceo and staff resulting in an inordinate number of clients cancelling their programs, requesting refunds or disputing decades’ charges to their credit card.

It is the volume of published online complaints about howard nestler’s business practices early in his career which resulted in mr. Nestler using fictitious names with his companies, clients and in the industry company’s practices: 1. The companies’ sales staff told each client during the sales process that decades would be making personal introduction of them to our exclusive hiring partners when, in actuality, decades marketing campaign consists only of high volume email blasts. This is, also, detailed in every client’s service agreement with decades which they are asked to sign. No personal contact is made by decades on behalf of our clients with prospective employers.

2. Clients are promised they will be given client references to speak with during the sales process even though decades has no client references. There is never any follow-up done with clients after they have paid their full fee. The only contact is if and when a client complains. Client references given to prospective clients are, actually, employees of decades using fictitious names.

3. There is no guarantee that decades will find the client a position but each client is led to believe by the salesperson that it is very likely they will find a job through the decades program. The decades sales staff sets unrealistic expectations with clients about the success of the program. The result is an extremely high volume of clients canceling their programs and requesting refunds once the marketing campaign does not produce results.

4. Clients refuse to sign the decades service agreement because the terms of the agreement do not reflect or, in some cases, contradict what they have been told by the decades salesperson so decades simply stopped requiring them to sign the service agreement.

5. Clients’ credit cards were charged without the clients' proper authorization. Multiple clients canceled their program because of this, stating "decades is not a reputable company and cannot be trusted”.

6. The company’s name, employees’ names, employees’ email addresses, the website url and phone numbers are changed to disassociate the company from client complaints posted online. These frequently appear on the better business bureau website, com, yelp, Scamion and others.

7. Clients complain that they have attempted to visit the company’s office provided on the company website but the company has no actual office in the office building at 757 third avenue, ny. Ny. It is a virtual office but appears on the website as a physical address.

Fell for it

Fell for their scam. It's nothing but an email blast that they sed out a few times. They take weeks to recommend an updated resume after they spend a few hours with you on the phone. They create an updated what they call a profile. Then they take a few weeks to make corrections on it. So now you lose 2 to 3 months of the 2 year overly priced agreement. Then they email blast your resume to anyone they can get an email of. Mine was blasted to many companies that had minimal to relate to my background and experience. When I asked them about their approach they yelled at me and then proceeded to blame me.

It was an awful experience and has taught me as well as scared me off from using any other one of these coaching services. They have absolutely no follow up.They just take your thousands of dollars and then leave you suspended in mid air.

We should be smarter and not be duped by their scheme

Awful and it's like flushing your money down the toilet. Extremely unprofessional, nasty bunch of uncaring people after they get your funds.

Service which costs thousands of dollars is nothing more than false promises and prey on the unemployed desperate professionals. They claim to have an inside track into the hidden job market when they don't. They simply do email blasts to a rolodex of names they put together from any phone book. The results are zilch. Nada. Nothing. Gyrnusht! rien.

I beg ou al not to fall prey as i did and get scammed out of thousands of dollars.

Howard Nestler Victim 2007 - Scammer

My story is like many. Numerous promises of hidden contacts only employ a messy spam machine and the rejects/bounces are unbelievable. There's nothing to this process because they lack the contacts to run a legitimate business. Don't fall for it.

There oughta be a law

Scam artists. They are extremely nasty unprofessional and also unreachable after they have charged your credit card. They eat into the 2 year time by taking forever to write up what they call a professional profile which is nothing more than main achievements which you can do on your own. Unless you have thousands of dollars to waste, yes waste, I advise you not to. I fell prey to their smooth sales pitch even though I am very leery of sales pitches. I was suckered in. They have absolutely no follow up unless you still have a balance due. Simply put, they don't care about you. Do not fall prey. It is nothing more then email blasts to unrelated to your field. The worst part is taking advantage of unemployed people when they are down and out while promising what they truly don' or aren't able to deliver. This should be an illegal scam that should be looked into by the justice system.

I fell for it also

They seemed so nice when they first try and get you to sign up. Follow ups are all via email and all very negative and nasty usually by someone called Scott. He is nasty, abrasive, non caring and extremely unprofessional. This was a big waste of money at a time I had no job. What they promise they don't deliver nor do they have those "inner and hidden" contacts they brag about. Save your money and move on is my suggestion.
