Horrible experience! They had stations set up at our local mall. You fill out an app if you have aspirations of being a model. They call you in and have a fake runway show in the middle of the mall. They promise to get you work and never do. IF you do acutally go and fall prey to these scam artists, pay with a credit card so you can reverse the charges. I made the mistake of paying in cash and am now SOL. I've called them to no avail, texted them, emailed them- they will NEVER get back to you and will NEVER send you the supposed portfolio they promise.
You go for something else, end up doing something else. It s ridiculous. You go there and there is no way out. You're trapped, and only way out is by getting charged several hundreds of dollars. They call you saying this is a fashion show audition where it is just a fake photography session. What this guys, "Matt," job actually is, is to apply high pressure tactics and make you uncomfortable and feel you're loosing your once in a life time opportunity, where there is actually NO OPPORTUNITY AT ALL, its an opportunity for them to get your money.
They tell everyone that you are chosen. They talk to everyone separately so no one knows what's happening to the others.
It's easy to find out though- plan on going there with a friend and compare the results for both of you. DON'T FALL FOR IT though and when they ask you to pay, DON'T. All you'll get from them is a T-shirt with their name on it. They do a mock photo shoot of your supposed portoflio pics that they promise to mail to you, however, you never receive it. And there is no refund, but they also don t tell you that! OPEN YOUR EYES. Matt seems so well trained to deceive people and charge them a big amount of money. He's so shady. It s scary. He ruins your day and leaves you with regret for even showing up for his trick show.
My daughter was heartbroken after being told how "beautiful and Perfect" she is then, not receiving any of the products or services they promised. We live in AZ so there's not much here as far as "talent scouts" and we thought because it was at the Mall that they would be legit and vetted.
Since, October of 2015 I've tried to contact them through every mean I could find and no one ever answers their supposed numbers or emails. I've contacted an attorney and will go after them and the Mall for not vetting the companies they let do business there.
Matt Decker with Talent Connection LIVE is a bad, bad man. He fills your heart with promises and preys off of your hopes and dreams for your child. Its one hidden fee after another. Then when all is paid and done it's I'll contact you in 6 weeks. JOKE. He got $500 out of me and I received a t-shirt and some half assed shots of my son. I'm extremely upset and pissed off. Fool me once, shame on you. Now to try and recoup and help my son find proper representation. LESSON LEARNED
Total SCAM!!! 100% went through the whole process of him LYIING to you that he will post pics on a website to promote your child, ask him for that site- is DOES NOT EXIST!They go from state to state to scam people and that's all they do this 3 kids
