Swiftic is a shady, greedy and pathetic company that refuses to listen to reason, refuses to address direct questions and cares more about collecting money than serving their "customers".
After not using the service for a year, we were automatically billed for another year of service; shortly after being auto-renewed, we contacted Swiftic in writing stating that we no longer used the service and we requested a refund.
They acknowledged our request and asked us if we realized cancelling the service meant we would lose the data on the account. First of all, who would think otherwise? This is a stupid question and is only an intentional delay tactic in a feeble attempt to keep customers who realize their service is sorely lacking. Secondly, the fact that we stated -- IN WRITING -- that we wished to cancel the service -- WHICH THEY ACKNOWLEDGED -- is undeniable. We did not respond to their email, presuming that our request had been carried out.
Yet, despite these facts, Swiftic is now declaring that they will not honour our request because we didn't reply to their message until after 30 days after the renewal. Outrageous! This doesn't change the fact that we requested the refund well less than 30 days after the renewal or that they acknowledged this request.
They are now ignoring our questions and refuse to refund our money -- and remember, we had not used this service once for a year before they renewed the service.
Swiftic provides a service where you can build your own mobile app. They promise to handle app store submissions for you to both Apple's App store and Google Play store. However, if you ever want to leave their service to build the app yourself (as our company has done) they will refuse to provide you with the signing key to your Google Play app. This means you can either stay with their service, or you can abandon all of your existing users.
We asked them for our signing key multiple times. They tried to tell us that it wasn't possible to provide it. When we explained step by step how to export our signing key from their keystore, they continued to deny that this was possible. They refuse to even admit that they are simply unwilling to export the key, claiming that it is not possible. It is possible. Other developers do this all the time.
