I signed up for Stretch Zone in Greenville, NC in May. I received services until the end of June at which time I hurt my back and was unable to return due to no fault of Stretch Zone. I was advised by my medical provider not to continue services. I advised Stretch Zone of this after several attempts to contact them I was able to reach them via FaceBook Messenger. They tried to talk me into continuing but I advised them I would follow my treatment plan and asked for a refund.
They told me to get a letter from my medical provider and they would send it to corporate to see if I could get a refund. I have heard nothing back. Until a couple of days ago and now apparently I have been turned over to a collection agency for $469.00 for services not received or requested. The collection agency said it was because I did not cancel my account. I am not really sure how that is possible since I obviously told them I could and would not be back and had even requested a refund. I have reached out to the company to make sure this is not some type of SPAM, but again I have not heard back.
I never received the first call, email or statement in the mail regarding any charge or payment due. I do not understand how people can do business like this. I would obviously like for any "debt' they think I owe to be erased and my credit restored (if it is in fact in jeopardy) and I would love a refund for the month I was medically advised not to go. I would also like for any other consumer to be aware and BEWARE of this company.
Swift Funds continues to call and say they have sent an email which I have not received. They said it is something wrong with my email...it is yahoo...there is nothing wrong with yahoo....I have never received a statement of any kind from any one...just threatening phone calls. I am 40 years old and have perfect credit. This is ridiculous!

This company contacted my daughter by telephone in a very rude and unprofessional manner. They told her she owed for a gym membership and needed to pay or set up payment arrangements that day to avoid having this debt sent to the credit bureau. Fortunately for her, I am in the Credit profession, so she did not disclose any personal information telling them she would get back with them.
She has never received any written notification of this debt and when i called to request it, i was told that without a Power of Attorney, they would not release any information to me. I told them then they needed to send her, via the United STates Post Office, notification of this debt in question. They were very abrupt and unprofessional with me on the phone. She has requested that they send her soemthing so that she can verify the actual amount owed and not what they just tell her to pay.
I honestly feel laws need to be passed to prohibit this type of collection practices.
