SWFA is a known internet retailer of Sporting Goods. I have bought from them many times before, and spent $1.000. of dollars with them. They also advertise items on Gunbroker.com, and there's is where the problems begins on the items they list on Gunbroker.com.
I initiate 4 purchase orders with Gunbroker that were listed by SWFA. These are:
PO # 4071687 for $37.98 plus $12.45 shipping
PO # 4071691 for $12.99 plus $10.95 shipping
PO # 4071696 for $15.96 plus $15.45 shipping
PO # 4071699 for $7.96 plus 15.45 shipping
I've ordered mutiple items from other vendors on Gunbroker and every one of them combines shipping. However, when I got confirmation of my orders and called SWFA they said the items are coming for different parts of the nation, and cannot be combined. I called within 5 minutes and was told that my orders could not be cancelled, So Basically I paid $54.80 to ship $74.89 to ship items that would all fit in a $13.95 USPS Flat rate box.
A simple sentence telling the buyer that in their listing would save $ and increase customer goodwill. I mean why ever list items for $1.99 when it will cost every buyer $10.95 to ship it plus $1.50 for each additional $1.99 you add. This is classic bait and switch.
My assumpiton was a flat $10.95 plus an additional $1.50 shipping for each item I added for my entire purchase and not $10.95 for each individual item even if the item costs less than $2.00.
This is poor policy and poor customer service, SWFA should know better....
