I purchased a bedding set in layaway from a brochure sent in the mail. the total amount was $750 with the option of making payments of $10 a month. I'm down to owing $95 dollars and the company phone number 1-214-915-7100 says that the customer service no longer exist.

I received a letter from Sweepstakes Clearinghouse whom i was not familliar with.. it contained a document that looked official that stated my name had been chosen as a prize recipiant and to urgently respond or loose the three credit vouchers worth 400.00 each..I never respond to junk mail or even open it but my mother had brought my mail to me and she could not resist the word sweepstakes! the credit vouchers were good towards merchandise shown on flyers that were enclosed..i informed my mom that it was a scam and none of the items appeared to be worth anywhere near 400 + dollars but she was already taken by the whatever hundred piece cookware set. my mother has suffered alot this past year so my only priority is to do what ever i can to bring joy into her life so i agreed to use the voucher for the cookware set and all i needed to send was the $89.00 difference along with the voucher ..i did not choose lay a way but opted to send a personal check that had cleared my account a few days later. about a month later i received a letter from them stating a charge of $69.00 for shipping cost. already upset about the time past since i refused to pay any more money because initially there was absolutely no mention of a shipping cost and had there been i would not have agreed to pay that amount. i attempted to contact the customer service # and would only get two rings then a busytone and hangup..i then tried a website but they never responded to any of my e mails...its now been about six months and and no cookware set, i lost $89.00 and to add insult to injury i get at least one of those sweepstakes scam letters each week to this day...in fact i just got one yesterday.

I have been receiving SweepstakesClearinghouse vouchers on name brand products for quite awhile and this is the first time that I have not received my product.

Back in August 2016, I had ordered 1-9 inch Android Digital Tablet and 1-Famus Brand Laptop with $500+Software package for National Reference Retail $589.95 had a voucher for $400.00 which the price came to $189.95.

I rececived the Tablet on September 9,2016 and had to write a check for $33.70 for COD. The check was made out to:Fullfillment Center. It was cashed at my local banking establishment not too long after.

Now I am waiting for my 2nd product:Laptop Computer! I am recent widow and I bought the product to help me bring in some extra income from home. I am not a rich widow by no means, and I can't retire because of my age right now!

I would like my product or my $189.95 back! I could use that money to go find a laptop for that price.

Sweepstakes Clearing House mails ads for merchandise to put on layaway till paid for, very expensive postage and no refunds..They started a new gimic sending a letter to buy a $300.00 Gift Certificate for $22.50 and merchandise is online only..I paid 4 times and got a Gift Card..Went to the listings but you need a code to buy any thing..after a year got a code but the code is use A for spending over $300.00 or B for less then $300.00..

finally got into the Home Values and Gifts site but the prices are 3 times the cost if you buy from Sweepstakes Clearing House site..I asked for my refund and they said they do not give refunds..so I spent $22.50 4 times to get a plastic card thats worthless..and they still send me letters to buy Gift Cards $300.00 value..and one woman on their phone told me Why did you pay for the card 4 times?? Why do they sell them when they are worthless and you do not find it out till a year after the card is paid for..Ripoff Vera Fenley

This company purchases mailing lists which are obtained by the company(ies) selling such lists using fraudulent activities to obtain such information.

This company was contacted about this and chose not to respond.

This is general information only for the purpose it can be used by law enforcement and government consumer agencies to track down identity theft.

First off I purchased a refurbished desk top computer that will not shut off. Shut it down and it starts itself backup. disconnect from the power source and plug it back in and it starts itself back up again. I have to keep the power turned off.

Second problem I paid for a brand name Lap top. Never received the lap top never heard anything from the company regarding what happened to the lap top or anything. The company ripped me off with no explanation.

I just received another package of suppose to be deals to save me money. How Im i suppose to save money when you pay for a product that you never receive. They will never rip me off again. Fooled me once and that's the end.

I was notified and Congratulated that I had won a 10 million dollar sweepstakes giveaway and was issued 6 vouchers of $400 each toward 6 items. I chose the Freedom 32 piece Cookware w/ Cuisinart for $489.95 and the Ultralite 6-pc Luggage set for $489.95. I gave them my credit card number to charge the remining $89.95 for each of the 2. After a couple of weeks, I saw 2 pending charges on my credit card for Allied Health??? (which was strange!) One for $130.83 and another for $119.70. I didn't know what they were for and saw later that when the charges actually posted, the name changed to Sweepstakes Clearing House! I was upset! Nowhere on the brochure did it say that is was going to charge extra $71 for shipping!! That seemed strange to me! Then the 2 big boxes came. The boxes looked very old and said from China and the tape was very old, too!

To my dismay, the lid holders on the cover on the pots were all dented!! The yellowish metal is so soft, you can press them in!! I have never seen such cheap metal before!! The Cuisinart machine was very small, like a small toy. The Ultralite luggage was a much darker and dulller shade than the pretty color on the colored brochure. The cheap fabric was like half paper material. I have ultralite luggage and it is a much better quality than this was! Also, the stitching was crooked and the pieces were smaller than what was shown on the brochure and the plastic crimped!

I called to complain that the items were defective and damaged and that I wanted a refund. I also asked for a shipping return label back and they said no. I said they had the nerve to send me this cheap junk and I don't want to pay for the shipping back! I asked to speak to the supervisor and she put me on hold for a long while, then came on and said that because I said I wasn't satisfied, they would not pay for the return. I told her I DID SAY that the cover lids handles were dented and the merchandise was defective and she said, No, you didn't! I told her to and listen to the phone recording with my conveersation to the previous agent, .... to which she abrutly hung up on me!! Needless to say, I am infuriated with this company! I will have to pay about $100 shipping cost back for both bulky items and have to insure them too because these people are crooks. They will say they never got them!

I did a Google search on Sweepstakes Clearinghouse after this and saw that there are 417 reviews on Ripoff.com. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand! They are all kinds of complaints... One lady also said she got dented handles!! Many others said they never received the merchandise after paying for them! These people shouldn't be allowed to SCAM people like this! I hope people will read this before being suckered in like I was!!!

I ordered a mattress from company on layaway program. Each month I would receive an invoice with balance due indicated. I received October invoice and paid enough that I would be able to pay off next invoice. I moved 11/04/2015. I paid invoice slightly after this date in ful indicating my new address. Company delivered mattress to old address 11/20/2015 prior to receiving final invoice , which check was cashed 01/14/2016. Company will not re-deliver or refund my payments of over $300. Letter dated 04/05/2016 tells me to see if I can arrange to pick up package at delivery address and if not the carrier will return it to warehouse and they will redirect it at that time. Carrier left it on front porch when former address was vacant! I can not locate it, nor should I have to due to the fact the company delivered it before they had even sent last invoice

If this was a sweepstakes then why would they send me credit vouchers toward certain items, then say that i would have to pay the rest and could even put the item on layaway! Also the items they want me to buy do not even cost the amount that they want. For example, a 9" android os digital tablet costs at the most $89.00 not $130.00 which they are calling the national referance retail.

I ordered 2 pairs of bikes from the company. They were sold that way 2/$189.99, a great price,or so it seemed. There is no mention of shipping charges on the voucher or any paper work sent in the mail. In fact it says 100% satisfaction guarranteed! Don't believe it!

I sent full payment for the bikes, $379.90 to be exact. I recieved a very poorly worded paper that asked for what I thought was $10 for each pair, needed for the shipping. Then I got another letter saying they needed my home address to ship it to not a P O box. That's when I called in person to verify. I was told that the shipping was not $10 each but nearly $400 dollars each! That means they want $400 for shipping 2 bikes (assembly required), that cost $189.99. Ridiculous!

That's when I said cancel my order. The gal on the other end said that I have to relinqush 15% of my money if I want to cancel the order. I got an e-mail that says that same thing. Send them $800 for outrageous shipping fees or "compromise"

by accepting 15% less of my money back. They have no such stipulations or mention of this or either on their bogus "contract" and are trying to extort money from me for doing apsolutely nothing.

Now, I cannot reach them via phone or email. I need help. I want to put this business out of business before they steal from anyone else.

I received vouchers in the mail for $310.00 each.I used 3 of them to put towards merchandise..I purchased a stereo,a set of cookware and a laptop.I am most displeased with the laptop..The description they gave was a high quality unit. From the beginning it overheated..I didn't know much about that.so I would turn it off.EVENTUALLY I just put it away.RECENTLY I decided to have it looked at and was discovered that on the bottom of the unit is a part marked DO NOT USE! it is a major part of the function of the unit;I was told. So they knowingly sent me a computer with a broken part..I have not been able to get a response from them on this matter,I paid 280.00 of my cash not including the voucher,What can I do about it now??
