They are a horrible organization. They have a real-estate division they recently launched, that built and manages a terrible apartment building I'm currently living in.
It is also very poorly co-managed by greedy United Apartment Group based in San Antonio and their racially biased, dismissive, dishonest Dallas - Fort Worth area district manager (who I have addressed numerous significant issues to with no resolve). They essentially run the poorly built "new" apartment building like the slums while simultaneously charging exorbitant rent and falsely advertising the building as a new luxury apartment, with certain services and amenities that are incomplete or nonexistent, in order to take advantage of residents.
Essentially the owners of this apartment building hired an extremely subpar construction company (with terrible subcontractors - the typical with new construction these days) that slapped this property together, with no pride in workmanship only pride in the almighty dollar they would receive, which is reflected in how sloppy a lot of things look inside and outside the apartments.
For something that is supposed to be "brand-new," it doesn't look like it will last long, because it's already falling apart after 6 months. Instead of trying to erect numerous apartment buildings coincidentally, in order to increase profitability, maybe the owners should focus on quality over quantity and complete one project at a time, so they can ensure the buildings are satisfactory & everything including staff are in working order. Speaking of staff, they have a high-turnover and have been short-staffed from the inception. Office staff are overworked and not paid appropriately for the extensive amount of work they have to do with a lack of assistance.
Therefore, they don't stay long. After a couple of months, if that, maintenance, cleaning staff, leasing agents, assistant managers quit. Then, if you have a problem with your apartment, they try to bring in a maintenance representative from one of their other properties to do the maintenance work or attempt to fix the sloppy work that "construction" did.
This can take up to 2 months or more for maintenance or whomever to come from another one of their properties, and when the rep finally comes, the individual doesn't have much time to invest in your repairs, because the maintenance rep has enough work at his or her own property that needs completion and numerous other residents on your property who have issues that need to be resolved as well in that ONE and only day of visitation.
Parking is 90% garages/8% carports which you have to pay for. When a building is operating so poorly already, it typically doesn't improve from there.
They're many new properties being erected and that have been completed in the area. I would avoid anything built buy this greedy, inhumane organization.
"For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice." (James 3:16)
Avoid doing business with this organization and it's divisions at all cost. They don't care about people, only about money.
They are just another organization more concerned about financial gain than consumer satisfaction. Poor ownership, poor management, poor workmanship, poor quality, poor communication with residents about a multitude of vital issues, lack of follow-up and adequate resolutions regarding significant issues, particularly issues indicative of significant damage that can be detrimental, like a perpetual apartment leak pooling water (with no resolve for about a week), no transparency and honesty, office staff rarely respond to calls/voicemails, never respond to emails unless they are the ones to rarely initiate them - consequently I always have to go out of my way to walk to the office to speak to someone or consistently follow-up with an issue. BEYOND SLOW, to even attempt to resolve an issue if it is ever even addressed at all.
Will close work-orders without completing them, because they have too many piling up in the system. Dirty buildings/breezeways, which have never been power-washed since opening and probably never will be, rarely ever swept as well....plenty of dust and debris throughout, stains on staircases as well. With this building being open for about 6 months or so, residents are already constantly complaining about stolen packages, issues with plumbing & leaks, trash pile-up (and seeing a rodent) aesthetic issues (sloppy construction-work), floor tiles coming up, holes and cracks in the patio and building foundations, being forced to pay for incomplete services or things like garages with no doors or valet trash which we didn't have for about 3 consecutive days (and is very overpriced to be missing these services), etc.

This company does anywhere from Insurance to mortgage services I believe. I had a previous employment with a company similar. I have gone to 5 job fairs and scored over many people on tests. I don't smoke which is course not allowed there. So that isn't an issue. I finally got a call by a recruiter and was told that I was not hired because of my personality. Well I have a mental disability and I've disclosed this. Well in the process I got angry with him told him that wasn't right. So he forwarded it to the Human Resources Vice President destroying my future employment credability.
Another problem I have is I was told this job offers education like my previous one did. Well they offer classes yet still require 2 years experience. As my previous job left the state and I only had 6 months experience. I would say why offer these classes if you want experience?
The main point is i feel discriminated against. This company is from Texas and I have progressed in many interviews I've taken. This is the first time I've been told my personality was an issue and it's discriminating cause first off. One of the tests I took tested my personailty and I passed it. So to judge my personality in a 10 minute interview is wrong that's not an opinion its discrimination. I understand that Texas is common for racism, but I don't appreciate it on my doorstep. This is Nebraska if you can't be respectful leave like the last company did.
