I was recently the victim of a scam by a company based in China, which after further research has apparently been doing this to a lot of people. I’m hoping to do whatever I can to help shut them down. My complaint is against a company that calls itself CA ox Ian xing & has an address given of é’èè¡—é“ æ°´å²¸åŸŽé‚¦3æ ‹108å· è泽市曹县, 山东 274400 CN & web site of www.swanaodal.com.
I put their address through Google Translate & got back the following: No. 108, Building 3, Shui'an Chengbang, Heze Street, Cao County, Heze City, Shandong On 12/18/20, I visited www.swanaodal.com and paid $55.98 (including shipping) for what I expected to be 2 Star Wars themed toilet paper holders, which I saw offered in ads on Facebook & Instagram.
I received an order confirmation via e-mail indicating that was what I ordered, including photos & detail of the items purchased. On 1/25/21, I received 2 small pieces of rope in a plastic mail bag from this company, in what I soon suspected was some sort of brushing scam, bait & switch, or other sort of fraud. I have contacted the company repeatedly requesting a full & immediate refund & they have refused.
I've since found a series of complaints against them by other consumers on their Facebook page. Apparently what they do is steal product ideas form Kickstarter or other companies & pretend to sell them as their own.

Their shipping partner in the USA also seems more than a little sketchy. I've seen a number of complaints filed against them with the Better Business Bureau. The shipping company is named Dept.CA, located at 5125 S. Boyle Avenue, Vernon, CA 90058.
