I live in the UK, im a small hobby breeder of Persians.
I was thinking about importing a kitten to expand my lines and colours, So i started looking on Facbook for breeders,
I came accross an account named ELENA GILENKO, Cattery MOZART, She appeared to have beautiful kittens available,
So I contacted her to find out information and pedigree about a particular kitten.
At first she would not send me the kittens pedigree or name of Dam and Sire, only the price of $1800.
Finally she sent me the kittens pedigree, i saw they were bred by Catley Crue, excellent perdigree so I got in touch with
Marsha Tjeerdsma the owner of Catley Crue, Just to get more information about 'Elena' and her cats confimations.
Upon waiting for Marshas reply, Elena was pressuring me to put a deposit on this kitten via Western Union, after talks
with my partner we decided we wanted to reserve the kitten.
To which Elena replied with another persons Western Union account number. She insisted I pay via Western Union, after talks with my bank they advised me to pay by a different method.
I asked her if i could pay by bank transfer she quickly said 'No, I guess beautiful kitty is still available', so again by Elena the pressure was applied. I was told by my bank if the money would have been sent to Elenas bank account, if she was fraudulent i would have back up from my bank, I could get the money back, Elena knew this. Which is why she told me I had to pay the money into her girlfriends account, TATYANA VLADIMIROVNA FEDORINA. Reluctently I said okay, but before i send a large sum of money to a person I have never spoken to, I wished to speak to her. That is when Elena accused me of not tursting her, Tatyana was a busy single mum of 3?
I didnt buy her story. So i told her, I did not wish to buy her kitten. She then decideds to slander me on an independant Facebook page, she accused me of not being able to afford a kitten. I was just enquiring at first!!
Money wise I could afford it, I just didnt want to be ripped off. She also kept changing the price of the kitten from $1800 to $2500 because i was interested in the her.
Then I recieved an email from Marsha, her exact words were, 'Elena is not real- Stay away from her- She is Svetlana from Larix' (I had never heard of her) ..'She is suspended with CFA, Owes people thousands, run dont walk away from this woman, RUN'
So as you can imagine I was shocked! Why would someone want me to pay money into someone elses account?
I have had lots of people contacting me confirming my suspicions, ELENA GILENKO of Mozarts cattery is SVETLANA SKYAROVA of Larix Cattery.
