I've been trying to use this Vanilla Debit Visa gift card for 2 years, it is not accepted anywhere. I contacted the Vanilla Gift Card company and they don't honor it either. I received it as a gift. I think one of the listed companies above should be making sure these gift cards work. I'm still working with the VanillaGift people, but they say the bank is responsible for this card.
I purchased a Vanilla gift card for $75.00 for my daughter Monday, December 23rd for a Christmas gift. I gave it to her Christmas . She tried using it the next and the card was invalid. She then tried using it on Amazon card was declined.
I called the number on back of card I was told by there representative I will I have to wait up to 15 business days to get a new card. I read comments on other websites other people get these same cards from Vanilla and they do not work and they lose their money.
I am a single mom and this $75 took me a whole day of working overtime to come up with this money. Now my daughter has no Christmas gift. I tried talking to a supervisor see could we speed it up the process so she would have to wait so long for a replacement card . I was hung up on by a very rude gentleman.
I just want what I paid for. Sutton Bank has ruined my daughters Christmas. I do not have another $75 to give her. This is a terrible company. Make sure you are not buying a Vanilla Visa Cards you can get
