HORRIBLE SERVICE. We came in as a group of 4 people who were really really hungry. We waited over 45 minutes just to get our food! About 30 minutes in, people who sat down after us got their food before us. I usually don't complain, but we were all hungry and found this unacceptable. We asked for the manager, but were told the manager is not available.
Instead, we were forced to solve our issue with the 16 year old kid who was serving us. He said the best he can do is charge us for the kids meal which is 14.99 per person instead of 23.99 per person. I decided to be reasonable and said OK. Then, they serve us the bill and only charge 1 person 14.99 and the res of us the full 23.99 price. I told them this is unacceptable and asked them to fix the bill. They refused.
I told the lady I will only pay what I was told and not this amount they are giving me. She threatened to call the police so I told her to go ahead because I feel that I was being scammed and lied to. The police came and told me they won't make me pay, but they also can't tell them what to charge. I decided to be the bigger man and pay for the bill. The nice police offer told me this is a regular thing with Sushi X, meaning they've been there a few times before the same sort of issue.
I mean, what kind of place is willing to embarrass themselves and call the police on their own customers for a $28 difference? REALLY? think about it. I'm embarrassed for them. The entire restaurant saw what had happened. I hope the $28 was worth a terrible review from us. Obviously they don't care about service, because they have several one star reviews on Yelp.
Sushi X, your service TERRIBLE. When dealing with people for a living, you need a little more compassion and common sense.
