Run!!! Upon entering the business, there is a stench similar to that of a dozen teenage boys that haven’t showered in a week- smells like sweaty socks, crotch funk and toe jam. They don’t run the AC which contributes to the stench but also helped the black mold grow underneath the mats, along with all the bugs. When you’re ‘greeted’ by the owner’s mommy, be careful how you respond because she’s been known to yell at kids, parents and even had a run in with the Surprise police department in summer of 2106 because of her reactive, irrational behavior. The owner will be flamboyantly frolicking around doing a Croisé derrière or pirouette in class instead of teaching karate. What you pay for is lazy babysitting- they have 10-12 year old kids ‘teach’ the classes.
While you’re there, you may be asked to give money to a fundraiser- they have the kids do fundraisers every month. Where does the money go you ask? Nobody knows because they keep all the money hidden….even from you. When you finally do decide to run from this dismal dark negative cloud of stank, cancel your credit card because they will keep billing you for another two months.
