Supreme Moving & Storage Reviews

Do not be scammed by these guys. This sunday my boyfriend and i purchased a moving service from supreme moving via groupon. We found the promotion on groupon and were thrilled to see a deal for $149. Shortly before arriving the mover alden phoned me requesting an additional $400 cash security deposit.

I was not forewarned about this additional fee in my first conversation with the representative i spoke with. Alden confirmed that this is completely standard and simply the company policy. He stated that they would not be able to move our items unless provided with the $400 cash security deposit. We felt it was an excessive amount but we needed the items moved immediately so we agreed to provide them with the requested funds. Upon arrival, two unprofessional and shady men arrived.

Alden, a lighter skin black guy with bad skin, and a mumbling hispanic man with a pierced bottom lip and long dark hair.

We handed over my id, debit card, groupon confirmation, and $400 cash security deposit expecting an honest business transaction. Our service was for 3-hours and if we went over the designated time a portion of the $400 would be utilized. The 2 movers alden and the hispanic male arrived at 3:10 pm and packed up all 6 items: a table less than 200 pounds, a coffee table, 3 houseplants, and a portable fireplace by 3:40 pm.

They arrived at my apartment at 4:25 pm and begin unloading. They completely unloaded my items on the sidewalk by 4:40 pm. This is when things got completely shady. The movers quickly hopped into their car after unloading my items on to the sidewalk and confirmed they needed to look for parking. It was odd because my boyfriend already offered to move his car to allow them space to park. They assured us that they would be back shortly to move our items from the sidewalk into our apartment.

After waiting for 10 minutes i phone trying to confirm their whereabouts. After the third attempt to reach them via phone alden answered and confirmed he needed to take a 20-minute lunch break. After the time passed they never returned to my location with my security deposit. Be mindful that we were well within our 3-hour window of time. Once i finally got in contact with alden he confirmed he was stopping to get a "quick" lunch.

I thought this was strange given that he first stated he was looking for parking and more importantly he was in the middle of a job and my items were left on the sidewalk. I asked him to please come back and finish the move. I could barely hear him over his blaring rap music but he made it clear when he said, "no" he wanted to get lunch first.

Fast forward, he never returned with my security deposit. Via text, he stated that my new total would be $719.99. How did the price appreciate from $149 to $719.99 in a matter of fewer than 2 hours? I was shocked and it was clear he was scamming us. He wouldn't return with my security deposit unless the "new" and the very ridiculous balance was paid. In short, not only were my belongings left on the sidewalk but some were shattered. More importantly, these low life scam artists stole my $400 cash security deposit.

It's absolutely despicable and saddening to think these thugs are scamming innocent people out of their money. Do not let these degenerates near your home nor belongs. They are criminals and the company is fraudulent. Here is there company website https://www.Supreme-moving.com/ company number 213.212.2296 alden's number 949.204.0403

I contacted Supreme Moving and Storage for a move from Ohio to California. They picked up my goods on August 20th, with a first available delivery on August 25th. It is not October 25th, and after several promises that my goods were "in transit", several days taken off from work with statements from the company that the delivery would happen on a specific day, I am still without my goods.

I only recently found out that my goods were NEVER loaded onto their truck to begin with, and someone lied and said I signed for and accepted delivery of my goods. Turns out, the FMCSA has revoked this company's license to operate, and they are not permitted to operate currently. You can find this yourself by searching their DOT# 2971099 at https://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/hhg/search.asp. Now the company is attempting to extort me for money, withholding the location of my goods until I pay them additional money.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They lie, steal, and legally cannot even operate. Research your company on FMCSA and BBB first before making a decision. Do not believe ANY positive review about Supreme Moving and Storage based out of Forest Park, IL. I am now without all of my possessions, including clothing, emotional items from deceased relatives, important job related equipment, university and school materials, bed and other furniture due to this.

This company gave me a quot on th phone and charged almost 2000 dollars deposit to perform the move of the house belongings and two cars. On the pickup day of Aug 24, 2017, a crew of three guys came. The head asked the two members to step out of the house and started telling me that we exceeded the original quote about the move and we must accept the new quote if we want to perform the move. I did not understand and agree with want he said and asked about the contract term , which says move per the original quote. He started telling me how much discount he was giving us. I started to make a phone call to the headquarter and all of a sudden this guy became mad and shouted “You are not moving. Good luck! “ Then he just walked out and jumped onto a Penske rental truck, which license number is recorded and available upon request as a picture. He honked the truck and started accelerating to flee the scene.

We were terrrified and had to call 911. A 911 record is also available upon request. Later I called the customer service to complain and asked them to return, and the customer service guy named Walter threatened me again if I do not accept the new quote, the crew would not come back. He also requested me to provide a written statement that we would not call police again if the crew came back. However the crew never came back. We had to use another company to perform the move. I requested my deposit back from them but they did not refund me. Plus they just told everything that is a lie to BBB. I have already called IL and NJ police departments to inquire about the business addresses listed on the company’ s website. I was informed the addresses are not registered under that business. I have already been contacted by dozens of other victims of the same business about similar experiences, or never had their belongings delivered, or had severely damaged belongings. Please do something to stop such fraudulent business and criminals from victimizing more people out there.

I received avid for a move at$7k. On the day of the move, the mover told me that the bid would need to be revised to $25k due to my large furniture and if I did not take the bid I would forfeit my $2k deposit. I had to reschedule my book ed flight and find another moving company. This incurred more cost and delayed my move'

Gina, who said she was from supreme moving and storage and said the company was family owned by her family, called to give me a quote for my move. She asked for a deposit to be paid by ACH (should have been my first red flag) and I paid over $1,700 as a deposit. She said the pickup could be July 23rd but then provided a link to a contract which identified July 26-28 as the timeframe for pickup. I started packing and received a call from Cynthia on July 24th saying they would be there on July 25th to pick up.

I redoubled my efforts, made arrangements to be home and waited all day July 25th. When I seemed no one was coming I called and after being put on hold for over 30 minutes, having my call disconnected twice and calling back repeatedly I finally reached someone who said the mover was delayed due to a broken axle and would be there on the 26th. I again made arrangements for someone to cover my worksite and remained home to experience the same phenomenon, no one came and no one called.

This scenario repeated itself for eight days at which time I asked for a refund of my deposit and was told in rather harsh terms that the deposit was non refundable. I have every detail of my experience documented and it is a horrifying tale of disrespect, lying, bullying and downright abuse. When the final offer of August 2nd was proposed the agent repeatedly asked if I would be there with my things to be picked up. I said I would be here and after answering that question repeatedly he hung up one me.

He then called back and left a message that I had not answered to his satisfaction so he was cancelling the pickup. I tried to call back but no one would take the call. I had to hire other movers to complete the move and am still unable to recoup my deposit. Feel free to contact me if you would like the detailed day to day events I experienced with this so called company. I will provide names, dates and specific statements from my notes. Bottom line is I recommend you have nothing to do with this mover, Never give anyone a deposit via ACH, and read reviews carefully as their positive reviews, all from 2016, appear to have been written by the same two or three individuals and I believe a thorough investigation will find they are false.
