I started working for this company 3 weeks ago. For 2 of those 3 weeks I went to a different state. This is what happened to me. First off, when I started working with this company I had longish hair and a beard. Yes in sales you need to look sharp but they gave me a job anyway. One day I was about to go out to Fort Morgan and there was a guy named Shawn. I was having troubles getting into demos and this guy Shawn says, "Well maybe it's because you look like s**t, I wouldn't let you into my house." The following Sunday, I talked to the distributor who is Tim and he didn't do a thing. Which is even more insulting than what Shawn had said. That same Sunday which was exactly a week ago I had to go back on the road. This last week the same thing happened, I wasn't getting any demos, I wanted to keep trying to knock doors and the team lead named Alex told me, "No you can't keep knocking doors because you are killing the territory." He then drove me to the nearest gas station and made me find a way home. He drove and parked in a parking spot at the gas station but I didn't see him so I thought he left me. I was in tears because I had like $2 to my name so I called my mom in hopes she could get me a bus ticket or something. He pulled back around to where I was and said that he would get me the bus ticket if I paid him back. I agreed to his terms just to get home. However they have us sign a contract that states that if we quit and we are on the road then it is our responsibility to find a way home and if they force us to head home then it is their responsibility to find us a way home. But that's not the end of the bus ticket issue. He got me the cheapest ticket their was which made me go to Amarillo, Texas before going back to Denver with a 9.5 hour layover. He also said that he was going to tell the people at the office that the ticket was $179 when yet the ticket was $156. So tomorrow I'm going to the office tomorrow to quit. The reason I'm posting this now is just in case other people have a similar experience so that maybe we could get a class action lawsuit together.
